I killed all of them, but it wasn't any sort of "KILL KILL KILL" thing, it was simple logic. If I have killed all of these other fools to get to this girl, I'm not about to risk one of them attacking me as I walk away, or making it any easier for the soldiers to find me.

Not to mention the fact that these people were far too hasty about cut...

Obviously plenty of people don't mind that Uncharted and Gears maintain the same general gameplay with each release, but that doesn't make it any more immune to the problem at hand. I find Gears to be slightly more guilty of this than Uncharted, and that's only because Uncharted really took off with the cinematic aspects of the game, which was a pretty big change from the first game. I think Assassin's Creed is my biggest disappointment in this aspect, because AC2 was such an ...

I'm not sure I understand this post. Is this a joke?

Are you implying that removing a limb due to infection isn't predictable? Because it totally is, and is pretty standard fare in zombie fiction.

Are you implying that having a choice in whether or not to cut off the arm makes the overall story any less predictable? Because it doesn't.

The Walking Dead was a great game, but much like the comic, it's predictable as all hell. Th...

I understand the enjoyment people get out of "console war" talk, but god damn, we do not have enough info for some of the arguments being made. It's still early enough to bet that half of the features we know about now will be gone by release.

Speculation was cute before the companies started revealing information, now it's just silly.

I would say they are at least equal with regards to which has been milked more simply because of how they have been released. In the end, it's really about perspective. For example, if one were to release two base Mario titles on the WiiU within 3 years, you could argue that it would be more milked than if one of them had been released on the 3DS. You could even make the argument that releasing titles in different genres (Such as Halo Wars, or Mario Party) is less "milking" a se...

I can't wait for the new North/Baker buddy cop flick.

Starring Nolan North as Officer Baker, Troy Baker as Corporal North, and Eddie Murphy as Police Chief Jennifer Hale.

This guy thinks everything is going to happen everywhere, all the time, while at the same time nothing is going to happen anywhere, ever.

He makes Nostradamus look like Hawkeye.

I don't understand how the God of War series can be the prime example of milking and series fatigue for so many people. While there are no shortage of GoW games, it's important to remember that they span two generations and three separate platforms. When we compare this to something like Assassin's Creed or Gears of War, which have nearly reached the same numbers over the course of a single generation, it seems strange that GoW take the brunt of the outrage.

While...

Offscreen leaks like this should never be trusted, because they are among the easiest to fake.

I could see a God of War Vita game being made to open the door for PS4 sequels. This could be done by either by leading into something new (such as a new mythos), or by finally putting an (actual) end to the Kratos story, allowing developers to explore the potential of the franchise through fresh eyes.

Not going to lie, I got a good laugh out of this one.

"...and then the world is flooded with a torrent of fanboyism, hatred and envy."

Followed by straight up fan boy gushing. I'm all for varying opinions, but line for line, this reads like an online forum post from an Xbox loyal incapable of having their viewpoint changed regardless of circumstance.

The Controller is the best!...but I haven't used either.

Anyone who thinks no used games would mean the end of DLC bullshit is straight up delusional.

It's not like these companies are going to be saying "Oh well, we've made enough money, let's stop this nonsense now". Where money CAN be made, money WILL be made.

I've been expecting this and Dead Rising to be exclusive for a while on the two platforms, then the old GOTY edition platform swap for each game.

One console gets each game earlier at the cost of paying for DLC, and Capcom laughs all the way to the bank.

I don't know if I could handle having both Dark Souls 2 and a Demon's Souls successor.

I don't have the time or appropriate number of body parts. I just can't do it.

Assassin's Creed 3? Saints Row 3? Max Payne 3?

I think this guy is just fueled by a hatred for the number three. Maybe the wait for Half Life 3 has driven him to some strange, undying, bitterness.

@Mr_Nuts

Of course. If we're going to go into matters of grief, overcoming grief, and the role of another human being as a method for fighting said grief, we might as well go all in.

You'll get no arguments from me that MP3 is the worst in the series, but that's because it's a damn good series. Could the new game have been a more "purely Max Payne" game? Sure, but chances are we'd be sitting here talking about how it was more of ...

I won't claim to know what sort of life you have led, but as someone who has lost his significant other and (unborn) child due to the actions of others, I can tell you that sort of grief is not something you simply "move on" from. You carry it with you, it is just as easy to fall back into as any vice, and it's always easier to lose that new lease on life than it was to gain it.

"I did not like this game and therefore no further games should be produced in this series. I hate."

Fuse is pretty average, but I have a feeling that was not entirely Insomniac's fault. Regardless, I hope they do a legitimate Ratchet game to accompany the movie, and not another genre experiment.

Nice to see the third console curse in full effect.

Microsoft is really rocking that launch PS3 era Sony arrogance.
