Ah well, this is the good kind of overload.
More GoW = win. More GT = win.
Both at the same frickin' time = call in sick for the week
Preorder bonuses are always great and all, but this is one game where I don't even need one.
I'd gladly pay full price (probably more) for some GT5.
Of course, I'm never going to turn down the free stuff, either!
...when Bill stated something along the lines of "PC's will never require more than 256 KB of memory." Laughable in retrospect.
Was Itagaki drunk when he gave this quote?
Tech advancements never stop and never stagnate. It's a key for driving a persistent revenue stream. If you're not ahead of the other guy, you're already playing catch up.
Translation: We tried to sell it with smoke and mirrors (slick looking trailers, media bravado, etc) and gamers called our bluff. We never should have released the demo.
Deep. Real deep.
You won't regret it. Great game, outstanding production values, criminally underrated overall.
Some complain about its length. Personally, I found replay value in the challenges for each level (glyphs of some sort - it's been a while), so I didn't think this was really a problem. Besides, what's in the game is excellent.
$$$
I'll have to try that out later. That will be a nice feature to have.
Otherwise, yeah, no major change that I see.
And IMHO it's getting a little sour...
This is not the way to return the franchise to greatness.
Way to water down an already watered down franchise, guys.
It would NEVER look like you're trying to milk it. /S
I think this is Capcom's announcement that they've officially lost track of what made RE great in the first place. Sad.
Was too good to be true. I can't blame anyone for trying to get this deal, though.
Personally, I'm still waiting for some game reviews before I consider Kinect (or Move).
But yeah, as faceline pointed out, you now have to question the Toys R Us numbers cited in an article earlier.
Hmmm. Gonna' have to try my code out when I have the chance.
More AW is a good thing. Anyone who likes survival horror would get a kick out of it.
IMHO: Dead Space > AW > RE5 > theclusterf@ckknownasaloneinth edark
Just last week I was just pondering what happened to this game.
I hoped for some news, but this wasn't what I was hoping to hear...
GoW3 is epic. It's proven to be simply an amazing game.
Lord of Shadows has great potential - but to this point it's proven nothing. I'm encouraged with Kojima Productions involvement, but I'm still cautiously optimistic here. Past 3D Castlevania games have been mostly underwhelming up to now.
Plenty of other games have had "potential" that turned out to be nothing but average or even bad games. I doubt I need to make a list fo...
That's what ESRB ratings are for.
3 words: God of War (Synonymous with topless greek chicks)
I think Playboy would largely qualify as "soft core", akin to the token nudity you'd see in a game.
I love the Terminator movies. Grew up with them. Figured I'd give Salvation (the game) a chance - despite the reviews.
Huge f'n mistake.
That's the only platinum I have that I would actually like to delete from my profile.
But I would love to see a game from this guy!
...but in motion is where it ran into problems.
The last game footage I saw was a jittery, laggy mess. The stills looked ok (passable - not great), but the in-game video was choppy enough to give someone seizures.
I'm still hoping this game delivers on its potential - more excellent games are good regardless of platform - but I'm definitely waiting on reviews before plunking down any cash on this game.
Black was overall just an OK game at best.
What I remember: Cool guns.
What I don't remember: Anything else. Totally forgettable. And what good is shooting stuff if you totally lose interest?
Not from me they won't.
Aside from MMO games like Warcraft, online gaming is largely popular because it's either free or relatively cheap.
Try tacking a fee on MP gaming as a rule and watch online MP as a whole tank (especially if EVERY game tries to charge).
Some games would probably still thrive, but only those that are the "in" games. No dev would take a chance with trying something novel or different if they risk losing...
Almost like Braid & Winterbottom spliced their DNA.
...Steam had it for $20 or something like that. Actually a pretty fair deal. I passed at the time - too many great games out that I still need to catch up on.
And if memory serves, didn't Sega announce they were shutting down the servers for online MP? (seems like that applied to console versions only, though)
