...a grain about the size of Salt Lake, actually.

But if it does turn out to be true? Damn. That pretty much would shatter the competition this fall.

To be fair, you would have to assume, though, that Ninny & MS would likely make aggressive moves as well.

From a customer standpoint this would be nothing but win (all systems $200 or less = awesome).

But it's a horrible rule if you work in the gaming industry.

Manufacturing plants would be like purgatory for me. Working around video games/equipment all day but can never plug in? WFT man?!

Hadn't originally planned on buying this. Snapped it up after playing the demo.

If you're on the fence, download the demo. You'll probably be hooked within 2 minutes.

Hysterical, great voice acting (is that the voice of the guy that did The Tick?), slick 2D-ish graphics (ala Paper Mario), and the gameplay is pretty well done too. Easily one of the top downloadable games of the year.

Too bad it apparently tanked. And too bad that support is tanking too.

When it was released I was hoping it would score great (it didn't).

Then I tried the MP PC demo thinking it was probably better than the reviews claimed (it wasn't).

I'm still hoping something sweet comes out of Colonial Marines, but I'm not as optimistic as I used to be...

I don't get it. It's not like they're exploring for...

Everyone knows he's the definition of a total prick - and that's just the G-rated version.

Safe to say most of us reserve more abrasive language to describe this guy. Anyone wanna' share their colorful examples (parental warning: some material may be unsuitable for children under the age of 18)?

But seriously, it's too bad the sales of AW have been poor. It's actually a good game.

It doesn't break any new ground, so don't expect that. But it did pull off the survival horror angle better than some other recent attempts (cough *** aloneinthedarktotalcrap *** cough). No where near Dead Space. But probably better than RE5 - which, let's face it, is now closer to pure shooter than survival horror.

$60 cash back... by not buying what looks like a crappy game in the first place.

This game has had "bargain bin" tattooed on it for a long time.

I used to be excited about this title, but the footage they've shown over the last 12+ months has been less than impressive. If the review scores are good, I'll gladly eat crow (I WANT it to be good, but there's just no evidence it will be).

...with Kratos in the mix. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk out their differences.

Kratos (sneering): "Gabe Newell, I remember exactly what you said about my home (PS3). I tend to hold grudges for a very long time. Today I will have my vengeance!" ***slice***

Then he'd just pound Kotick to a bloody pulp because, well, who the hell wouldn't if they had the opportunity.

PB Winterbottom is definitely worth the price of admission.

Humorous & engaging at the same time. Excellent puzzles combined with some nifty use of black and white contrasted with the occasional color.

I think we'll be able to add Limbo to this list in the near future. Really looking forward to that one. Looks like what you'd get if Braid and PB Winterbottom shared DNA.

They delete comments with random consistency (remove benign, objective comments while letting other flaming attacks go), and then do nothing with junk like this.

My guess is that the above "seller" probably will ship you your very own 12 year old kid from a factory in some 3rd world country. Food & clothing not included.

To all: please report this type of stuff every time you see it. Otherwise we will see more and more of it.

Seriously. The game itself is epic, but the presentation is unreal - including the extreme violent endings that Kratos doles out.

I was playing through it again last night and couldn't help but chuckle while dissecting Hermes (the biggest candy a$$ in the game).

They're not about to give up that revenue stream. They developed the equivalent of VHS (not the next Betamax). Blu Ray is more mainstream every day.

Not to mention that the potential technical capabilities are staggering (see plenty of posts below).

Expect BRD technology to stick around for a while.

LMFAO

Good one, bro'

Disturbing in more ways than I can count, but funny as hell.

Just too many flaws for most gamers to put up with.

The silver lining: SK should have a good idea what to fix first.

My request: fix the death animation/reload sequence (seriously, didn't that annoy them when they were making it?!)

"Only" $35,000,000? Deal.

Seriously - it's cool, but who buys this stuff? Must have money to burn.

Bring on Bonk, baby!

I couldn't afford either system when I was growing up, but they had some pretty sweet games.

Looking forward to hearing more on this.

One of my favorite weapons this gen. Especially once you get the power to light it on fire, make it explode, electrocute, etc.

A lot of enjoyment to be had for a small sticker price.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a sequel.

Amputating limbs with the boomerang of doom (glaive?) combined with competent gunplay, a solid cover system, and a sci-fi horror angle = a pretty nifty combo. You can find it cheap, too. Just don't expect it to break any new ground.

Call of Juarez was enjoyable, too. The only thing that annoyed me were the duels (not all that difficult, just not well done IMHO).
