LOL, stupid fanboy console wars! As much as I dislike fanboys, at least every now and then I have something to laugh about.
I want to say the gamers. But it is only the the gamers at their homes, really enjoying their console. Online in the internet communities and on the gaming mags it saddly is a huge win for the console-warmongers, trying to spread hatred and making my hobby into a warzone of stupidity!

The good thing is, you have 2 big install bases (PS4 is bigger but X1 big enough) and both will be supported by devs and we can expect the same 3rd party options for both platforms.
So it only depends on exclusive games taste and features then.
Whatever floats your boat dude, but bitching about that battery feature on Xbox is strange. It is not negativ at all!
How is having the choice of your battery (or play and charge kit or any other battery solution) and being able to simply replace it without having to send in your controller or voiding the warranty a bad thing?!
I use a play and charge kit and have to recharge my battery maybe once a week, depending on how much I play (One charge lasts ~25 hours).

As if it is Microsofts fault that Kojima as a japanese dev is more drawn towards Sony. There is a big history with MGS and Sony and it is natural that he has a deal for his first game with his own studio with Sony.
He gave the impression he doesn't care to much about Xbox. Releasing Ground Zero with 720p was a statement towards the Xbox. No time and no desire to optimize the engine for the Xbox. At least they upped the engine performanc...
Intersting comments on how they built their engine to achieve more with less. With the new APIs devs have to step away from the single core DX9 programming and start to use the new hardware to its potential. I think we will see a nice jump for PS4 and Xbox One. Not necessarily in resolution but in quality.
Strange, I ve heard the complete opposite of what you wrote. Great content with the latest updates and lots of engine polishing that is getting rid of stability problems.

I think that depends on the location. In Germany PS4 and Sony in general is way more popular. The younger croud often goes by the main stream and buys PS4 without any questions. It mostly is the older croud that is enjoying the Xbox One since you have to, lets say, "research" why you would like an Xbox better than the popular Playstation (featurewise).
Almost all my german gaming friends are over 30. At least here, I have the feeling that Xbox appeal...
I agree on that, the rare occasions I use game chat on XBL (Forza/Halo) it is way quieter and nicer then I am used to from my PC days. I generally think the XBL community is pretty mature compared to what I experienced on PC. But then, I haven't been around last gen...

Then you really should try Halo out. It has evolved IMO. Modern gameplay mechanics that keep in touch with its roots. Since Titanfall it has IMO the best shooter mechanics. MP is a blast if you are into competitive MP.
The SP story might be controversal if you are a long time franchise fan (you hate it or love it) but I personally liked it for trying to take focus away from Masterchief and give the Halo-world the opportunity to go different directions. Surley it ...

I play Xbox for its features and games. The console offers a lot and I am really happy with it since day one and that is all that matters to me.
It is doing good and has with Sony a really strong competitor who is outpacing it sales wise. That doesn't make Xbox a failure as all those doom and gloom articles try to implicate!
Is Mercedes a failure if BMW sells more cars?

You don't have to be market leader to have success. Xbox is a great console and is selling well. PS4 is selling even better and too is a great platform.
It is a successfull industry and only fanboys try to spin it otherwise to keep the "console-war" going for reasons I don't understand.
I know people like free stuff but you can't expect an high quality online service for free. Servers and server maintenance for millions of users is not cheap and that is why we pay those subs, to get a stable environment with tons of features like party chat and achievements/trophies.
It was only a matter of time till Sony had to introduce the fees to keep pace with Xbox Live quality and IMO it has improved since Sony is able to invest in server infrastructure if they have a sub ...
Spend so many time in this awesome game!! IMO the best shooter mechanics to date, followed by Halo 5.
The gameplay of TF felt so fluent and intuitive especially the vertical gameplay with wallrunning.
There could have been more content but for their first game Respawn did an excellent job. Playing with my friends, I had tons of fun in this exceptionally good MP shooter :)
