@ soxfan
Well, since you asked so nicely, here are some links I found during a 3-minute Google search to stories of Microsoft inflating their hardware numbers, drumming up fake shortages, inflating software sales numbers, and so forth.
I'd offer more, but I really don't have to waste my time on you when you spend so much effort to be ignorant.

Let's just...sweep this under the rug.
After all, we don't want karma stabbing us in the back from all those times 360 owners mocked Sony for their profit falling.
Shipped. Oh, here we go with inflated numbers again.
I'd like to see sold, please. It's a documented fact that Microsoft has "stuffed" retailers with its products before, and that includes the Xbox 360. That's why shipped means nothing.

"I wasn't aware of that. SO your pretty much saying your able to video chat since the PS3 has a web browser?"
In the PS3's "chat room" function, accessed from the main menu, you can set up a room where people can...well...chat. Whether that's with a headset or with a webcam, it's up to the user. You can also mix and match so that users without webcams are still able to communicate in a room dominated by webcam users.
Cross-game chat is highly overrated. It really is. It serves absolutely no purpose when it comes to playing games. It's a social thing, kinda like Home or MySpace.
Funny how cross-game chat is TEH MOST IMPORTANT THING IN VIDEO GAMEZ TODAY simply because the PS3 doesn't have it. Notice how downloadable movies was also TEH MOST IMPORTANT THING when the 360 had it and PS3 didn't. Notice how Achievements were TEH MOST IMPORTANT THING when the 360 had it and PS3 didn't. Notice how rum...
This article is written by a mighty fine troll.
Here's the summary:
"PS3 has a game that 360 owners want? Hyuk hyuk. No way. 360 has it all".
It's sad because this logic isn't applied to the 360. A "Gears and Halo vs the PS3" article might pan out the same way if I used his logic:
"360 has Gears? PS3 owners are going to buy a 360 just for Gears? Hyuk hyuk. No way. PS3 has it all".
Silly, isn't it. ...
Oh wow. This game is finished a LOT sooner than I thought.
I hope it turns out well. Southpeak Games is...well...let's just say that their best titles are X-Blades, Two Worlds, and Legendary.
I can't argue with that. It's true that a lot of XBLA games should be much cheaper.
Still, don't you think this article is an overreaction (especially how it tries to represent EVERY Lode Runner fan)? I mean, it was advertised at 1200 points for a couple of weeks. Even *I* knew that, and many N4G-ers would profess that I am TEH MASSIVE ANTI-360 FANBOI!
Both the PS3 and PSP are pretty dang sweet. I do think the PSP could do with a second analog stick. Whoever on the big ol' PSP design team said "Nah....one analog stick is fine" should be punished.
Sounds awesome...if I was 13 years old and a virgin.
If Front Mission 5 ends up being E3's big announcement from Square-Enix as a 360 exclusive, my money is down that the media will act as if it's the biggest announcement ever. If it's multiplatform, no one will care.
History lesson: Nintendo "killed" hardcore gaming with the NES, too. Back when it released in the mid '80s, the NES was an 8-bit console aimed at families and kids in a world of 16-bit PC games. Console gaming was all but dead, gamers were happy with the PC, and the NES was a joke.
Yes, believe it or not, but the NES was actually a joke to the gaming community.
That is, until it started piling up the games like Mega Man 2, Ninja Gaiden, and Final Fantasy. ...
Corrected:
Why the gaming press should lighten up on the Sony PS3 hate.
The Wii hasn't proven itself to hardcore gamers. Yes, I won't deny that it has several awesome games like Zack&Wiki, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, and a few others, but THAT'S IT! The Wii SHOULD be hated until it delivers the goods.
The 360 has plenty of technical steam left.
The problem is that 360 devs are lazy and would rather use Havok and Unreal Engine instead of making a new engine to push the system's capabilities.
After all, we all learned that despite the PS3's superior hardware, it didn't make a difference in 2006 and 2007 when devs weren't pushing the hardware. Games only began to look amazing once devs stopped being lazy and made new game engines.
They are fairly technical fighting games. Button mashing doesn't get you very far, let me put it that way.
It looks so beautiful.
*drools*
Er, right.
Anyway, I'm excited for this DLC. The "Operation Anchorage" DLC was completely lame. It was a waste of four hours. This DLC should be much better.
@ Sidepocket
MAG is vaporware? Then what is Alan Wake? MAG had a big article in Game Informer this month with tons of gameplay screenshots.
They should be confident. Sony has the best announced lineup for 2009, and that's a simple fact.
Notice, however, that I said "announced lineup". MS and Nintendo can always impress gamers by...you know...announcing games, but until then Sony has the upper hand.
So basically this article is 100% BS:

Lol.
