In the final chapter Raiden says something to the effect of "I am the lightning in the rain" just before Snake goes into the microwave tunnel.
It's only the beginning? Only the beginning of what.....treating multiplatform announcements like huge revelations? Wait. No, because no one seemed to care when two of the 360's biggest game went over to PS3 (Ninja Gaiden and Bioshock). What is it the beginning of?
If it was the "old" Squaresoft, I would be angry at their current BS (like saying "we're a multiplatform company" and then not delivering). Unfortunately, Squarenixidos has become a terrible, money...
It's certainly the most unique rhythm game to come out in quite a long while. IMO, a must-have for any PSP owner.
That looks shopped. I can tell from the pixels and having seen quite a few shops in my time.
Cool. I love the MGS series. Here's hoping to another masterpiece from Kojima.
I think a "Metal Gear Stories" game would be cool. Instead of one big game following one character, you have small "chapters" that each follow someone different...like one chapter showing the origins of The Boss, another chapter showing George Sears' rise to power, and another chapter showing off the cybernetic Raiden saving Sunny.
The 360 gamers who would be unable to access the audio track will probably say "Bah. Who needs a Japanese track anyway?"
PS3 gamers who would have been able to have multiple languages on their version of the game are the ones who will miss out. Hopefully that bribe money M$ sent over to Squarenixidos will prompt them to make better games.
Fnatastic game. Both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus (which is the prequel) are great games. Can't wait for the upcoming Team ICO PS3 exclusive.
Oh Cnet. You make me laugh. Apparently the importance of first-party games didn't strike you during your endless string of "PS3 is dead" articles.
Why would 360 gamers want to play an "interactive movie"? And the PS3 version had installs for every chapter. You think the game -- which was coded for the PS3's architecture -- would run better on the 360? And...
Whoa.
Whoa, sorry about that.
I forgot that it wasn't July 2008. I guess I assumed 360 gamers thought playing year-old exclusives was stupid, based on their reaction of the PS3 getting a superior Bioshock, a superior Oblivion, and a ...

Or perhaps Sony doesn't talk about their competition all the time like Microsoft does.
*calmly checks off yet another supposedly-exclusive 3rd-party game going multiplatform*
It's no surprise. Only desperate fanboys thought this would be a 360 exclusive. Now, it may (or may not) be a TIMED exclusive to the 360, but even that would surprise me.
Glad to see more people getting a chance to play this game.
Isn't the guy talking about the demo?
Hmmmm. Do I trust THIS guy (a random editor from a no-name site) or do I trust the three stunning reviews from IGN? Oh, it's sooo hard to choose!
This list was pretty terrible. To me, the music in the Half Life series and Halo series is especially memorable.
This is sad, considering that Namco-Bandai floods the 360 with games yet leaves the Wii and PS3 out to dry.
Here's an obvious one:
Microsoft shows off 2 minutes of Alan Wake footage (running on a PC, mind you) and announces a timed 3rd-party exclusive to be released sometime in 2010. The gaming media goes berserk and a new flurry of "PS3 is DOOOOMED!" articles clog the web.
Meanwhile, Sony quietly shows off a dozen exclusives and the media ignores it.

Gee. A bit touchy there, ain't ya? SEGA is one of my favorite gaming companies. The Dreamcast is still hooked up to my TV and remains one of my favorite consoles.
In my eyes, Microsoft has a lot to live up to if they're going to be the "next SEGA".
MGS4 would be awesome on the 360, because (hopefully) all those haters who ragged on it when it was/is PS3 exclusive would experience the game and fall in love with it.
Of course, the media would go insane. If this was announced at E3, everyone would say "OMG! M$ totally conquered E3 '09!", which is funny...because the PS3 getting games like Bioshock, Lost Planet, and an enhanced Ninja Gaiden 2 barely made the gaming media bat an eye.
Well, history has shown that the "next big dog" dominates two generations in a row when they first enter the gaming market. Atari did it first. Then it was Nintendo (NES, SNES). Then it was Sony (PS1, PS2).
And since all you kids know your history so well, you'll notice that Microsoft hasn't dominated either of the two gaming generations it has been involved in. Hmmmm. That sounds a lot like SEGA.
But Xbox Live....I was told you were superior. Why can't you support a clan mode?
