360 fans had a reason to mock the PS3 back then just like how PS4 fans has a reason to mock the Xbone now.
This "payback" just shows that Playstation fans are just as immature as the Xbox fans.
They are all equally bad but since there are more Sony fans (at least on this site) I guess I'd have to choose them. Every article/user here that criticizes Sony is automatically paid by Microsoft no matter how justified the criticism is. They always have the same reason: "But what about this other company/game that did the same thing??". Fine, MS is worse but that doesn't mean we should blindly accept anything Sony does.
Mjeh, good news for Sony but if it's indie games you want, PC is obviously the way to go.
Beat me to it. It might be impressive from a technical standpoint but that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't look or act like water
Thank god for that!
Yes, the game has a very "heavy" feel to it as well and it makes the low framerate even more apparent.
Agreed. While infamous is just fine at 30 fps Killzone feels really sluggish to the point where it hurts the entire experience. Everything just feels slow and unresponsive to me (mainly pc gamer here). I wouldn't mind if they lowered the resolution to 900p and made it run at 60 fps instead.
Oot doesn't even have a jump button :)
I'm on my second playthrough right now. I very rarely replay games so that says a lot! The game is great but I understand what he means. The city feels a bit lifeless in my opinion. Mainly because of how pedestrians act. They don't really do anything besides walking around wich is something MOST open world games has been trying to avoid since GTA4. It's the same thing with mini-games and side missions in order to change up the gameplay and increase immersion.

I've been thinking about the things he's talking about before and I agree. Just the idea of visiting different exotic locations while sitting in your livingroom could be reason enough to get one. As long as the price is right of course!
I remember visiting the imperial war museum in London. There was this "attraction" that lets you experience the blitz during ww2. It was basically a a small tunnel with plywood cutouts acting as buildings and some appropriate...
It's just hype talk. Your experience probably won't be more unique than your avarage playthrough of GTA5 or any other open world game for that matter.
I highly doubt it's something to be worried about. A lot of people use adblock so they simply include the ad/promo/whatever in the video. Rev3 isn't as big as sites like Gametrailers and IGN so they need every penny they can get.
They make money with ads. It's as simple as that. If I didn't use adblock I would probably see ads for tampons or some shit every time I watch a video on Gametrailers for example. If you deem sites with ads as unreliable you won't be able to trust anyone.
I sure hope so. The latest trailers really doesn't look that impressive in my opinion. I mean it looks GOOD but when they first showed the game I really doubted my PC would run it better than my ps4. Now I'm not so sure. I guess we'll find out for sure when the game comes out.
I don't care that he cares. I was just curious. It's silly to just focus all your attention on the score instead of judging the review based on what the reviewer has to say. It's even more silly to say there's somehow a big conspiracy towards this game. Bringing up the fact that "xbone will still lose big" is also rather irrelevant and that made me wonder why he did it.
Agreed. I was planning on buying this for my ps4 but considering the graphical downgrades I might as well get it for PC.
As he mentioned in the beginning of this review, he doesn't want to show pre-determined gameplay that only shows the best parts of the game. That was the exact reason why he and many other journalists didn't feel right about that ps4 show invite thingy you're refering to.
Some people including yourself just ignore that and instead pretend he got upset because he didn't get his own free ps4.
Just sayin'
Polygon does actually give sony exclusives good scores from time to time. How do I know this? I've seen that very same joke so many times :)
Outside of this site most people I see seem to find him quite respectable. Myself included. I don't see anything wrong with the complaints he made in this review. Some other reviews seem to complain about the very same things.
It's that people mostly just look at the score and compare it to other completely unrelated games. That's why the scoring system is so piss poor.
And you care becaaauuse...?
It's a very good game so no wonder. Also there hasn't been that much else for ps4 owners to buy since launch.
