Nuff said.
It's comments like this that make your oversized posts worthless. You may seem to have some sound points but then you chit on them with dribble like this. The term "timed exclusive" is a pathetic marketing term and nothing more than a talking point for idiot fanbabies when defending their games. In reality, there is no such thing as a timed exclusive, you are either exclusive or you are not. Plain and simple.
Than to hear my kid pretend they have a head crab attached to their skull. Instead I have kids who pretend to be Jedi and Barbie. Oh how I wish they were old enough to play Half Life.
It's disgusting to me that parents would not be informed enough with their kids to know that this stuff happens. I am a parent of two and keep tabs on what they do in my house. Call it an invasion of privacy or call it a parent being in control of what their kids do while under my roof, it matters not to me. I plan to make sure my kids do not wind up in this position... I don't feel like feeling the need to put a shot gun in some 30 year olds face for screwing my kid.
I don't know what's worse, the guys that are the would be fanboys or the folks that let fanboys bother them so bad they would write about murdering fanboys on the interwebz.
We will see a game that is ok on the consoles and look even better on the PC. It will more than likely have a few subtle differences between PS3 and 360 but will turn out to be a touch less attractive than Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. By the time it is released, the PS3 will have more titles that rival the game and give it a run for the money.
Multiplatform games just can't compete with the top dog exclusives to the PS3. The PC version will look great but the console version jus...
Typically I see some pretty lame straw man arguments here but this one is actually pretty solid... Of course, a solid straw man argument is not all that solid to begin with...
Let's be honest, the 360 line up may look good but the issue is that the PS3 games coming look even better. I know it's not kosher to compare but the reason the 360 line up gets so much heat these days is because when compared to the PS3 line up, the 360 games come up short. The PS3 also has one thing oth...
Correction, some people called Forza 3 a flop, when compared to the sales Gran Turismo on the PS home consoles. The Turn 10 devs seem to think it is wise to talk smack against the Goliath of racing games and for that they receive their just reward, sales that remained shadowed by the GT series.
As for Modern Warfare 2, I knew it would rise to the top as it should. It is the best online game at the moment. IMHO
If you have more to say to that Xbox fanturd, feel free to PM me the text and I will let you rent my bubbles for further rebuttal. Sounds like you know what you are talking about and I would hate to have your bubbles be a limiting factor when schooling another Xbox fangirl.
I want to help you, help them.
Bubble up.
But amidst all the other AAA titles coming it just looks "meh". If it turns out to be a real hit, I'll seek it out in the summer from the bargain bins.
Tot he old days when the HD-DVD and BD war was going on. We know what happened there and from the sounds of it, the HD-DVD camp never died and they have all come here to roost. Sure 3D will be expensive at first but the popularity it is getting today in the theaters is a true showing as to how much it is being adopted into the homes now. It will not fail, you can mark my words.
I know it seems odd but look at it this way. It's a blessing to know you can play most of the Xbox 360 "exclusives" on the PC since the PC is a reliable platform and you won't have to worry about having to send it away for a couple weeks while trying to complete any one of these games. So you see, there is a cure for the RROD, it's called a PC.
GT5's alpha demo kicks the retail version of Forza 3's a$$ across the map. Too bad too since we all thought Forza 3 was the "definitive" racing sim...
Prove it.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Less talk, more games.
That a highly compressed "alpha-demo" of GT5 looks and plays better than the retail title, Forza 3. Kudos to Sony for knowing how to pick 'em.
I for one love cut scenes because they help flesh out a deep story and if this 5 hours of cut scenes does just that then I am all for it.
PS3 fans know the benefits to exclusivity. Heck, look at Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2. Two of the best looking and best playing games ever made and they are EXCLUSIVE to PS3. No other console can show the true benefits of exclusivity as well as the PS3. It's just a fact of life.
Yeah like what? That this game in the series is actually going to be interesting? Hey, if they make that happen the great, can't wait to be surprised.
Correction, ODST was DLC until MS and Bungie saw they could milk the Halo fanbabies for more cash to line their pockets. Then they decided to make it full retail and slap the Halo 3 multiplayer disc in with it...
Now, if Bobby Kotic would have done this, they would have cried foul but since it was MS and Bungie, they get a pass...
See the hypocrisy?
"flopza 3 and not flopza when compared to sony home console(so because the handheld is not doing great its now only home consoles, *chuckles*) gt titles 3? i suppose its a mouthful huh?"
I stated home consoles since MS has never released a handheld game so I thought it best to compare apples to apples since MS has no oranges to compare to Sony's...
Anywho, I could have been nasty and stated that the culmination of all three Forza games have still not so...
