Right, tell that tot he 140 million folks currently using the PS2. Tell them that the PS brand has not recognized the casual market... Right.
Sorry, but Sony's stepping stone to telling the public that the PS3 is casual friendly is nothing and won't take much for them to recover their reputation as being the game system for the general crown, both hardcore and casual. Mark my words, it will happen over night.

If you want a true simulator then you buy GT. So many imitate but none duplicate the realism you get in the GT franchise... PERIOD!

There is nothing fanboy about wanting to see reliable hardware trump shoddy hardware. If the world were a sensible place, we would see everybody agree to this concept. People should have told MS to shove their pile of poop 360 up their butts a long time ago but too many ignorant fanboys were there to buy it... and buy it again, and again... It amazes me that so many shoddy 360's have been sold already.
Everybody. Only an idiot would even ask this question. Slimmer = Cheaper. For Sony it always has. So tot hat I say cheaper is aimed at everybody. It's so simple.
The last conference I saw that was that pathetic was E3 '08 when Nintendo sot us all in the face with their crazy antics on stage. This one, might just be a bit more pathetic.
If the only game that was in the 360 was ME2, then it is safe to say that ME2 helped overheat the console since the console will only overheat under load.

Let them have their "definitive" race game... Definitive to their console that is. If the 360 can only handle 400 cars with a bit of custom paint then so be it. Just play GT5 when it comes out and pay no mind to the 360 guys.
Oh well, at least there are those of us happy with what they are doing. Kudos Sony for another job well done!
They are already the least expensive console on the market and have yet to see stellar sales. Do you think that cutting the price even more will help? They need to focus more on fixing their hardware and less on trying to gain market share.
There are no reports of this game crashing PS3's at the confrence! Kudos Sony for a great game and a great console!

The new PS3 Slim plays GT5 like a champ.
And for those like Sanzee here, it's not the game pushing the hardware, it's just lousy hardware. The 360 is still a weak console in terms of hardware and is in need of a complete overhaul.
