My own. I am fortunate enough to rent them, test them out and if I like them, I buy them or play them through then return them. It's the only way to be certain.
They begin promoting this as the Geriatric aid in fitness that it truly is. Old folks homes would eat that stuff up! I can see the old blue hairs hitting that Super Breakout game up day after day after day!
Even if you want to be generous and exchange GT4 for GT5:Prolog you still have GT outselling the 4 halo games by several million. In the end, GT is a beast and appeals to a wider range of people where Halo is a shooter and appeals to those who are one, blind Xbox fanboys or two, people who fall for the media hype that Halo is the only great shooter for the average console joe.
Let's take a look at the numbers...
Halo: 6.5 million sold
Halo 2: 8.5 million
Halo 3: 10.5 million
Halo: ODST: 4.5 Million
Total: 30 Million units sold
Gran Turismo: 11 Million sold
GT2: 9.5 Million
GT3: 15 Million
GT4: 10.5 Million
Total: 46 Million units sold
The numbers speak for themselves.
When a Halo of any kind sells 15 million units then you can talk. Until then, pleas...
Next gen starts when SONY says it does. Kudos Sony!
They are one, to rich in graphics for the 360 to handle and two, they are exclusive IP's to Sony. End of discussion.
"Remember when it was said Killzone 2 couldn't be done on the 360? Yah and remember when that has been proven wrong? MS and Sony should learn to shut it sometimes."
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING on the 360 even compares to what is seen in Killzone 2. Show me a game where there are 350 light sources shown all at once at any given time in any 360 game. Here's a hint, there is none. The rendering in Killzone 2 is amazing and the graphics in that game trump everything to da...
Then yes, it has. If they can charge 100 bucks for a WiFi adapter then you have to accept that this will be a bit too expensive to justify hitting a ball in some super breakout game but if they price it right, then perhaps it will have a chance... Maybe.
Not as much of an opinion as it is a cumulative fact. I along with many others, many of whom are in the media agree that the best looking games are on the PS3 and that those games could not be done on the PS3. Perhaps if one person thought that it might be simply an opinion but when developers and media agree, then you have to admit it's more factual than opinion.
Priceless. I just read it and wonder why he would even bother showing his face int he gamer zone. You just can't beat an owning like that one. lol
As for waiting for E3, the games shared there will more than likely be sold at retail next year. Since this is about 2010, I think waiting for E3 is a non issue.
There is proof that games like GOWIII are only possible on the PS3. The proof is that in fewer years than the 360, the PS3 has managed to come up with games leading in graphics leaps and bounds over the 360. Even two years after launch, the PS3 had Uncharted, a game that blew all other console games away and yet we have never seen a game as pretty on the 360. In reality, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The PS3 has been around for a year less than the 360 and yet has games that are ...
And each engine uses the power of the Cell in different ways so while one might say that the engine running Uncharted can be made even better over the next 6 years, it is possible that the engine running MGS4 was a power hog and a resource hog and might not be able to be as optimized as well as the Uncharted engine.
Run Pee has got to be one of the stupidest apps I have heard of and to be listed in the top 7 is pathetic but then again, it is IGN. Other than that, I have several of the others on my iPhone and love them. So many apps, so little time.
So maybe a ZOE3 is truly on its way. I can only hope.
Now there is a quote that is full of fail-sauce. When the 360 can fully execute deferred rendering and allow for nearly 350 separate light sources on the screen at one single moment then I will believe this statement but until then, the best lighting of any game goes to Killzone 2.
None of this comes as a surprise to me. The Wii is simply good for Nintendo and nothing/nobody else. Third party development has always struggled on Nintendo systems but now the Wii has shown us that they are all but dead on the newest of ninty systems.
That pirates of any kind are simply douche bags. Sorry, but to hack any device for the sake of playing free, stolen copies of games is beyond me. I say they can all rot for all I care.
Perhaps you did not read the initial users post above mine. He says they are a must buy for the 360... So I asked if he actually buys themes for his 360... Simple... Or so I thought.
Yes, but to keep it level headed for the Xbox fans, I thought it best to compare the 4 games to 4 Halo titles. There is another Halo title I did not include and that would be the RTS they released that did not do as well as the other titles.
