I've been willing to wait-n-see, even after the E3 debacle, but c'mon already. There's no more hiding, now that it's in front of the public.
I wonder if the author realizes that he is not CONTROLLING the dancing avatar on Dance Central. I somehow doubt that anyone at the "special MS UK event" pointed that out to him.
I think the sheer volume of these "assurance" pieces should make people suspicious. I mean, every day it's another 10 blurbs, from sources of varying levels of credibility, with nothing but vague assurances of how capable Kinect is, or how unlimited the "potential" is. And in the meantime you and I still can't get anywhere near it to see for ourselves, and there's nothing close to independent confirmation.

You do realize that having a mic and using it are two different things, right? Excellent, intelligent, specific stuff again from Dr. M. I've yet to hear anything similar from the Kinect camp. Instead, we get lame, transparent excuses like "we're still calibrating for sitting down".

First of all, it hasn't been "out" for one week now. It won't be out for several months, at least.
Secondly, where the heck are the first-hand reports from the show floor? Are there no demos being made available to E3 attendees? Can't anyone get near this thing yet without a bunch of MS handlers behind the curtain?
