Whether this guy statements ends up being accurate or not (I believe not) I certainly hope this is not the sentiment Microsoft has about it's console, otherwise I feel they may find out they guessed a little wrong.

There is a much larger gap in One X and PS4 Pro than PS4 and XB1 were at launch, despite recalling everyone raving at that difference. The One x runs games at 50%+ higher resolution than pro and with more graphical upgrades on many games, hardly minor.

The Pro is fine, but the denial here is just sad at this point. If you prefer PS4 pro, then fine, that is a fine choice, but that does not make it as powerful as One X no matter how often you guys try to pretend it does. <...

The quote is in reference to architecture and that they are both upgrades from standard than power comparison between One X and Pro, one of the two is quite clearly more powerful.

Agreed, but also, think the issue is moreso the demand is way higher than expected, it is their fastest EVER selling game as a company in the gaming business for over 20 years, so I think that plays into it a lot more than the fact they went closed beta than open.

Also, I don't really think there are that many aggregations online issues with the MH regardless, it seems pretty solid IMO.

Yea, fortnite is free, kinda hard for a paid game to do better.

PUBG is way better IMO, the gunplay and building in fortnite are just not for me.

This and Blue Dragon were both amazing IMO.

Eh, seems like a reasonable restriction to me TBH.

Though, think the title may be incorrect, I would assume it would only actually require that you have played the game, not necessarily own.

I think this game has to be one of the most over-hyped games of 2018 so far, at the very least the hyperbole is getting old.

Not knocking anyone who genuinely enjoys the game, but some of these articles are just beyond reason.

I think they are implying it is hard for them to find the revenue stream to fund putting the effort in since new game sales for Rocket League are probably not too frequent as most people have already bought it or are not interested.

There is also the point @xrt made, that if it was developed on an old Dev platform, then it may require changes to net code and it is unlikely that all that would be required is just adding/changing textures and upgrading the res, not to mention...

Agreed, one of the best coop games this gen easily, though, after beating, feel no need to go back to it. Overcooked is probably #1 for me

Yea, this article is absolute non-sense, at the very least the title is. I did not even bother to read or give it a click, because the title is enough to show it is cancerous.

In reply to the title, I personally think the game looks terrible and I am definitely not going to buy it, though I am speaking as someone who has not played it. Though, I cannot recall a time where I could not tell my feelings on a game from watching gameplay, so seems like a pretty flimsy argument ...

Yea, the EA purchase would be a major plus, but pretty sure them purchasing Valve or PUBG would pretty much instantly devalue both products, despite their intent.

@mako again you show how clueless you are, MANY companies run operating losses, (ie. Youtube, Amazon, etc) it is part of business operations, there are multiple reasons this happens, large investments that will have a long term ROI, tax benefits that expire or are less valuable in a following year, and frankly a million other reasons.

To just post and say "Netflix had an operating loss" for one quarter or even one year and act as if that means Netflix is a failure...

Well, fact is, subscription models have worked this way for decades. So you just saying "nuh-uh" because you are being an irrational fanboy hardly changes that.

Literally every subscription model of this type uses it's most appealing products to subsidize the less used ones, it is the business model behind almost all subscription models.

Just as one example, using one of the biggest subscription models in existence, Netflix is able to carry ...

Not true at all, he has talked about finding a way to diversify their lineup. He has never said he doesn't want single player games. Many in the industry say they are not as profitable, which in many cases, is true.

Whereas, gamepass allows MS to subsidize cost of smaller niche games by having a large number of people subscribe for the bigger titles. It is a pretty good move, for MS and for gamers IMO. Though, it could certainly be abused too.

@damist, it is not like that, there are hundreds of games, $10 is a great value, just don't think this hurts Sony or Nintendo at all.

Almost exactly the same when comparing the cutscenes, the VERY few gameplay scenes I noticed the differences a little more easily, though still pretty similar. Either way, looks good on both along all settings really. Hard to say which is better and by how much though when it is almost exclusively comparing only cutscenes, pretty poorly done comparison IMO.

Not really a groundbreaking graphical powerhouse anyway, looks fine.

Yup, title says it all, I think gamepass is a pretty sweet deal and am looking forward to seeing it in action, but I doubt it will have any impact on Sony or Nintendo's ecosystems. At the very least it will have no negative impact on them.

At most maybe they will see the model and decide to implement something similar.
