Remember, modern media companies (Sony, WB, Disney, Ubisoft, etc) hate their core customer. They don't want our money, don't care our business. Your list are "too white, too manly, not representative enough".
It is not the licence of the music, it is the licence of the cars.
Origin was Ubisoft last great game. Period. :)
The issue is: most Japanese Anime's story today IS about arena fighting.
Inquisition can also be played as turn-based, if you really want to. In was shown at the beginning.
I'm curious if Sony had forked money over to put (FF VII remark, FF16) on PS5 exclusively. I have a felling ....and I know I'm not wrong about this, & I have a feeling this will be a humongous let down.
If PS5 uses Xbox One lift time sales as a comparison, it means PS5 may not be selling as good as it sounds. Even MS admitted long time ago that Xbox One isn't their best moment. A better comparison would be the sales between PS4 vs PS5 at the same year mark (3 years mark).
Being exclusive to a single platform "doesn't always pay off for developers". SE, anyone? So what is the point of this article?
This kind of "dual protagonists" means generic story, boring mission, water-downed scenes (why all the statues in ancient Greece all clothed and covered in AC: Odyssey?)
PUBG, APEX, MW & numerous mobile games show that IF publisher can make a popular live-service game, they will have a cash cow in their hand. That's why publishers keep trying.
Tomb Raider I was on PC 1st, then ported to PlayStation.
I to VI have been remaked, remastered multiple times before. So there would be no surprise if SE decides to remark VI.
From the sales of AC: Mirage, the answer is no. Customer (myself includes) doesn't want to pay, say 80% of a full game price, yet only get around 60% of content comparing to AC: Origin.
If (Sony) make it, they (PS5 owner) will come. So, yes Sony "needs" to make as many remaster as possible to maximize their profit (since there is no big 1st party exclusive confirmed for 2024).
NCSoft doesn't have any big Anime game in its roster now. It currently has several GaaS games running.
Clearly Sony's executives do like (some) live service/ mobile games revenue. Remember, mobile games (as a whole) earn far more than Sony+Nintendo+Xbox combined.
I think gamer/ critic & game consumers are 2 different groups of people now. the latest MW III are universally hated by gamer & critics, yet selling very well. AC Mirage are precised by gamer & critics for the "back-to-basic" approach, yet customers don't buy it.
@seanpitt23 Origin has one of the best story in AC.
Finally we saw the definite proof the the fable "Modern Audience" do exist!!! Around 600 of them were saw in the wild now!!!!
