AC Origin was Ubisoft's last great game.

This game convinced me to buy a new console. There was a huge difference between the previous gen (Xbox360/ PS3) & the latest gen (Xbox One/ PS4) . The Nemesis System was only available in Xbox One/ PS4 . That was how a generation shift should be.

You have to because Sony told you to do so.

@Gamingsince1981 There is still a difference: MS didn't bought Arkane Austin specifically for Redfall. Redfall just happened to be one of the hundreds of IP MS bought. Sony bought Firewalk specifically for Concord. So the failure of Concord meant Sony made a huge mistake at their investment.

The game is WAY WAY pass its prime (a Wii game !!!!!!) Will it still be reference without the Wii control?

Redfall was in development way before MS acquired Bethesda. At one time it was even a PS exclusive! The persons involved in the development of Redfall are canned now ( Arkane Austin was closed) . Will Sony do the same thing to Firework?

If people "don't realize" this is a good deal, then it is not.

TBH, we as the customer have always paid for the usage for many thing now. We don't own the airplane we travel (we just bought the usage of that flight service); we don't own the movie theater & the physical copy of the film we watch; etc.

@romuls23 Some wise guy once said a decade ago: if you don't like the always on-line requirement of Xbox One, we have another product which is call Xbox 360.
This one line destroyed the Xbox brand. So you want Sony to destroy the PS brand as well?

No. In this case it was a lack of over-sight from the publisher (Sony) and shareholders that lead to this mess. They let the developer & artist did whatever they wanted, disregarding any criticism & feedback from the customers (i.e. you & me). It is the job of Sony & its shareholders to question what was the business logic behind the game mechanic & characters design.

@isarai "one thing you can't deny is they still have talent for satisfying gunplay." Do they? Firework also has a lot of talent developers that have previously worked on CoD & Destiny. Do their talent help Concord?

@tay8701 what Fairgames has done that hasn't be done before, say Paydays?

For me, it was the very 1st "Road & Track Presents: The Need For Speed that got me hooked into semi-realistic racing game! Before that, most of the racing games were all very, well, game-ly, like F-Zero, Outrun, Daytona Racing, etc. The R&T Need for speed was one of the 1st game that tried to use real car spec for a more realistic (relatively speaking) driving experience. I also raced with a friend online, using 56K modem!!!

What kind? You meant this game is aimed for the sub-set of a sub-set of a sub-set of customer?

At least it is doing 10x batter than Dustborn. What an achievement!!!

No..... He is way past his time now.

The issue is: the "Nintendo magic" cannot be repeated by other companies. Switch can thrive with a less powerful hardware does not mean that other platforms (pc, consoles, mobile) can thrive on this same principal.

No surprise here. Who else is still hoping for a good adaption of game-to-movie?.....

Hasn't Bungie already gone thru a massive layoff right after the takeover?
