@Michiel1989 The rapid decline (of PS5) was already there during PS3 era, combined with ever increasing price of PS games & remake/ remaster/ remake of a remaster of PS4 games.

If this person was quoting the truth from the insider source, than it show that there maybe some fundamental problem on the CDPR development process. CDPR changed to UE5 because it struggle with its own engine. Now it is rumored to struggle with a common engine UE5.

CDPR is (rumor) struggling with UE5; it struggled with their own engine before...... So this make one wander is there any fundamental issue with their coding developers?

Hasn't Valve tried that before, with Steam Machine(s)?

This has been reported before. Not a new revelation.

Let's call this a forward-lash. :) While we haven't seen any game footage yet, we've seen the same attitude of developers & actress lash out on gamers/ customers again & again. Therefore we can rightfully assume that ND will lash out on us if this game fail.

@P_Bomb I'm sure you & your friends did bought the game & enjoying it. The issue (for Sony) is that only 1 in 65 PS5 owner bought it. It means that for every one of an actual gamer like you, there are 64 others that only talk about PS5 games but not actually buying it.

"Right now they´re hating on GoY, they´re hating on Intergalactic and they´ll sure be hating on Wolverine since it´s a "Sweet Baby inc game"."
Exactly!!! To be fair, I also hate the upcoming XBox exclusive South of Midnight because it's a "SBI" game.

The Concord fiasco shows that Sony has little experience in managing, nurturing & promoting a GaaS game. Sony is still managing at least 5 GaaS games development at the same time. This means that these 5 games will not only face external competitions, but competitions from each others.

The difference is: for Nintendo & XBox, after their near fatal failure, they learnt their lesson & humbly amend their corporate strategy. For Sony, we don't see any course correction: still holding-on to woke Interstellar, still over-emphasis on GaaS games (still planning to release over 5 GaaS in the near future), etc.

Both side has their own W & L. Both side need the other one to check & balance their own strategy. It would be bad for the whole industry if only a single console survive.

The timing of this seminar seems to be wired.... In the past, Sony release these kind of tech seminar just before the launch of their new hardware. This time, Sony release this seminar after the PS5 Pro was launched. Is that means the PS5 Pro was pushed to the market before it is readied?

Ubisoft Montreal = epic center of SBI wokeness, which has already infested a large majority of gaming industry. I have low expectation on this one.

Mass Effect 1, 2, 3, had somewhat different game mechanic. But the overall story, art design, world view, characters interactions, etc, all stay consistent with one another.

"It was never going to match the DA4 in people's minds" Why??????!!!! Why developers now dead-set to NOT making games in people's mind?????

The said profit are mostly coming from hardware sales (the ever inflating price of PS5 + DVD Rom + fxxking stand). Those are one time profit. What Sony lack is a long term, sustainable revenue steam, like a profitable subscription service and/or a GaaS game. When the game-to-console is 20% the most, Sony isn't making enough profit from their games.
