From the time when Sony announced that it was working on 12 GaaS projects, we know that Sony didn't understand the business nature of GaaS. Other big publishers all have only 2-3 GaaS games running at the same time. There is no way Sony can develop & run 12 GaaS games concurrently.

Isn't old Jimmy already been fired? I think Concord would be one of (if not THE) reason he was "retired"?

..... than it will not be GTA6, but rather become Saint's Row.

There is no re-start option (that I can find). Since I've already finished the story years ago, I can't re-start it to check the new update.

Combining Sony Picture from Hollywood & Kadokawa back catalog of Japanese films, Sony may be have enough content to start its own steaming service (at least in Japan).

426d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not exactly.... In terms of Japanese anime, Kadokawa isn't the largest one. Others like Bandi Namco & Sunrise are bigger than Kadokawa. On the other hand, Kadokawa has a very big catalog of Japanese films, like Haven & Earth. Combine this with Sony Film from Hollywood, Sony may have enough films & TV shows (US & Japanese) to start its own steaming service.

The nature is different. Kadokawa is more renounce for their extensive rights in Japanese literature, films & amine. Gaming is actually their least known business. If Sony can take over Kadokawa, Sony will become a major media player in Japan (currently Sony Japan has only a small footprint in Japanese media outside of gaming & amine).

Kadokawa is on of the largest media group in Japan. Not just in gaming, but movie & books as well. So a Sony takeover means Sony will get a lot of Japanese film right, like the war epic Haven & Earth, as well.

Nintendo is it own market. Switch 2 only competitor will be, well, Switch.

A Xbox handheld should (in theory) support Xbox 360 games natively, just like current Xbox. The should be no need for emulation.

buy it now? not recommend, since this is a very old game, with an old AC mechanic (like no free running, can only climb at a specific spot, etc.)

Personally, this is a "Not Bad" grade. The gang warfare part is fun. You should give it a go since you already own it.

Nintendo is its own market. What other companies do will not affect Nintendo's market, and vise versa. Steamdeck is directly competing with other PC handheld machines. In a sense the future XBox handheld will compete with Steamdeck. On the other hand, Steamdeck is also having that same question: if Valve hold on too long for the Steamdeck 2, it may be in a less favorite position to compete with other PC handheld in the future.

In reality, GaaS would be a long term cash-caw IF done right. Just look at the revenue from Apex Legend, Fortnite, Overwatch, etc. So SIE or Ubisoft (if it survive in next year) will keep trying to make GssA not matter what.

So..... Apex Legend Could Save So Many Studios by offers a way forward to games that trapped in a underwhelm single player game (from Titanfall 2). Studio should have look at their underwhelm SP games & pick the part for future GaaS games.

Sorry!!! what am I bullsxxting?!!!!!! While every studios should study the success & failure from each other, no single project "Could Save So Many Studios"......

I think Valve is too vague by what they mean "generational leap". Does Valve means graphic power? CPU power? battery? display? Waiting too long for Steam Deck 2, Valve may miss the next hardware sales. Also, I think Nintendo is always doting their own thing which cannot be copied by other companies. So the upcoming business of Switch2 will not be a good indication of future PC handheld market. Nintendo can sell a (relatively) underpower Switch 2 doesn't mean that Valve can do th...

Hasn't some wise guy once said "who want to play old games"?..... I wonder where is that wise guy now.

AC Origins is the last great Ubisoft game. Period. This game show how great the Ubisoft story writing once was. Also the meticulous research Ubisoft did in the field of Egyptology. Ubisoft was so pride of their research that it made a separate Touring mode just to showcase all of their study.
