If my memory is correct, EA did talked with Sony on EAPlay when it was launched years ago. They couldn't make a deal. So it is definitely not EA just fucked Sony. I imagine EA would love to maximize their profit thru Sony.

“Quantity has a quality all its own”
We're talking about a massive quantity of games for a decent price. The individual maybe vary, from great (Forza Horizon 4, Mass Effect) to so-so one (Need For Speed, Anthem). But there are more games than you can play. This is more then make up to the uneven quality of games. Just look at Netflix & HBO. They are also operating under the same strategy (some high quality exclusive programmes plus a lot of so-so one...
There was already a Hyrule Warriors before. This will be the 2nd one.
I think enough is enough. Let this game to go into the light (afterlife)!
Maybe these will be sold separately after March.
Japanese business love to make their product "limit editions".
It is a limited offer, even for the digital version.
Actually on one wondering any handheld console other then Nintendo. Not even Sony exit the handheld market. Mobile game (phone) market is now an independent environment.
That is based on Japanese customer preference. Japanese customer always prefer small & portable products.
Actually, GuuMa means auntie, the elder-sister of your father.
This question also applied to Apple: why can't Apple make a good video game? I think one of the answer maybe their corporate priority. Both Apple & Amazon don't see game as their main focus (as of lately, we suspect Apple may even view games as a nuisance.....). Looking back at Microsoft, once the richest company in the world, had a hard time creak ing into gaming & the return is minimal even today. So there is no incentive for Amazon to increase their investment in games.
$15 is for ALL GAMES in GamePass, not a single game.
Gaming include Pachinko machines. This is the Japanese way of gambling.
In China, privacy is a crime. You need your real ID for online payment, take a long range bus, etc.
I'm not against a female lead. However, this approach of "let player swap between male or female lead at will" make most of the story & dialogue very bland. Just compare between AC: Origin & Odyssey. A lot of the missions & their dialogue in Odyssey felt very generic & bland, since the writes needed to accommodate the mission for both male & female charter. In Origin, the writer(s) could wrote the mission with some specific responses & emotions from a mal...
It's just like Netfix or HBO. Being a subscription-based business model doesn't prevent Netfix & HBO producing big budget projects.
Nintendo is a hardware company thru & thru. The hardware game machines are their bread & butter, unlike Sony & MS. Going mobile means losing their control on hardware profit.
I remember that I played the 1st stage. The control was so bad that I couldn't force myself to continue.
This game was so bad that it doesn't even worth our download time, let alone to "play" it.....
This is back to the age-old argument: quality vs quantity. The PS5 exclusives may have a higher quality individually, but the sheer quantity of GamePass+EAPlay games maybe more than enough to fight those PS5 exclusive games.
Just asked yourself, last year (of cause this year is difficult) how many movie you saw in theaters vs how many show you saw on Netflix or HBO.
