While EA is not totally innocent, it was BioWare's decision to make Anthem a loot-shooter. It is BioWare that put far too much time on the "flight mechanic" that they finalize the game as a loot-shooter under a year before release.
All sales figures, from cars, to houses, to clothes, etc, are from outside sources plus a lot of guessing. So there is nothing hilarious about the sales figure from vgchartz.

The big size of PS5 does make it less desirable to the Japanese market than to the rest of the world. Japanese consumer like their product small & neat.

@potatoseal Konami is doing great with Japanese pachanko machine & no longer care about console nor PC games. Capcom is in no financial danger for now. Also I think the Japanese law & corporate culture make it very difficult for foreign company to fully-own a Japanese company.
