You are aware who the Houser brothers are ?
Point being, the GTA series wouldn't be what it is without folks from north and south of the border, so calling it British is perfectly reasonable.
The Houser brothers, however, are English.
PS1 and PS2 both had a similar gap between US and EU launches.
The PS3 had a 4 month gap.
Note: before all you US chaps 'have a cow' or whatever, you may want to note that the RRP of PS3 games here in the UK was £49.99 (about $75) to start with.
EA is also currently charging more for current PS3 games on the UK PSN store. e.g. Tiger woods 14 and last years NHL are both £59.99 (nearly 90 space bucks).
In other words, next-gen prices aren't looking vastly different to those now. And, after a while, once the libraries and install bases h...

So, a store suggesting you buy extra stuff when you pre-order something ? That's a novelty.
If you think you'll want an extra one, go ahead, if you don't then don't get bullied by scare tactics.
If even Sun readers (an oxymoron if ever I heard one) can see through your snake oil, you may as well give it up as a bad job.
a few things i've noticed which may or may not have had an impact;
1. You couldn't pre-order the PS4 at Amazon uk till fairly recently. The Xbox 1 had a head start on the site.
2. The PS blog lists and links 5 places to pre-order your PS4 from;
Game, Shopto, Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda (i.e. no Amazon.)
Daily Mail.
This week;
'not enough words to describe how good the last of us is'
Next week;
'hideously violent videogame, the last of us, the cause of all the worlds troubles... especially those immigrants.'
Don't worry. If the Kinect breaks it sends out a distress call. You'll have a MS employee at the door before you even realise.
I remember at one point, a certain chap saying, '640k ought to be more than enough for anybody.'
Wonder what him and his forward thinking company are up to nowadays...
Protected saves wont let you copy them to stop people gaining easy trophies.
If you're a plus member, cloud-saving sort of negates the need for an external physical storage device.
It's not the greatest problem in the world.
They don't take any money till they ship (which they patently can't). so apart from a minor annoyance no-one's going to lose out.
In other words;
'We aren't sure and you'll have to wait for a proper announcement one way or the other.'
Any Sony exec is hardly liable to commit to things that haven't been announced at this stage.
I'd assume they're holding off confirming release dates in all regions until they know for sure the sort of numbers of consoles they're going to have.
And they had that Cerny chap remote playing his PS4! game live and lag-free.
Not sure if any smoke and mirrors were involved, but it's a pretty decent statement of intent. One that i'm fairly pumped for.
While they can be entertaining at times, i'm not so sure i'm that bothered about IGN's 'cutting-edge analysis'..
I'd be more surprised if you couldn't.
& i'm fairly certain i read a comment somewhere on the EU blog indicating it would be showing it.
Just pointing out, the list isn't Edge's best developers of all time. As it says in the article;
'Welcome to the Edge Developer Awards, a new, annual list of the best development studios in the world. '
The rest of the opening goes on to say how they're judging the studios not on revenue, sales figures or review scores but a mix of things like creative ability, technical ability, imagination, ingenuity, etc.
So, it's more a look at who ...
I totally agree, especially with the poorly written bit.
If anything, IGN are being decent in this case. Suggesting it would be more prudent to bide your time and make sure it isn't a turkey before you waste your money.
Have you not thought to just ask someone from EA or Ghost games for a comment, or is that too much like proper journalism ?
