I agree...loved the Golden Saucer and raising Gold Chocobos :)

Anyway, you hit the nail on the head with new twists. Almost EVERY dungeon should be completely different. New puzzles, new takes on old classic puzzles, new summons, new materia, more/new/different limit breaks, again I say the WORKS.

New dungeons, hidden areas, and bosses of course are a must. Hell, how about different places to find Yuffie and Vincent?(Maybe just Yuffie...because I'll be honest, ge...

Here's why.

By the time a game like FFXIII drops, expect the PS3 install base to be somewhere around 7-9 million. At 4 million right now I personally think it stands to be very profitable for developers. Resistance at 2 and Motorstorm(which wasn't a launch title) at 1 support this claim well enough I think.

I expect the holiday season(November - December) to push 2 million units. It will be a hot commodity this Fall, mark my words. The obligatory after Christmas ...

A game, funded by Sony, developed by a third party, will save the PS3 in JAPAN.

First off, such bold words can't mean a new IP, unless it's a *genre-defining* game, it's nothing we've never heard of before. It's gotta be a proven, highly revered franchise or the sequel to something that was huge years ago and never saw a sequel. New stuff RARELY carries this kind of weight.

Third party suggests some huge devs, Japanese of course, so I'm guessing either Konami, Se...

the Venom debacle of Spider-Man 3 because of the "fans", or rather, Avi Arad in his infinite wisdom forcing Raimi and Sargent to shoehorn a fan favorite villian in there.

The same could happen with this. It's my favorite FF game like many others, but I wouldn't want a remake if it was just updated graphics and cinemas...the gameplay has to change, new abilities, materia, dungeons, secrets, weapons, the WORKS.

A few more of those arcade games wouldn't hu...

I was a Diablo head for YEARS, but II left a sour taste in my mouth after a while, especially after Battle.net.

It just seemed that I was doing the same thing after a bit...which was level grinding and treasure hunting. Once you get to 99, all it is is treasure hunting, but by that time, NOTHING stands a chance to go toe-to-toe with you, so it's pointless.

I'm sure it will come out in some way, shape or form, but what I'm saying is that it needs that big bad prot...

let's not get our hopes up too much. Excuse me for playing devil's advocate, but this Touchsense may not end up being such a huge difference when it all comes down to it. I can't imagine how much different a shaking controller can feel, so I don't think we should wave the victory flag just yet, because the jury's still out on this one.

Like I said though, I'll buy one of these controllers(I'm sure I'll have no choice as I can't imagine them continuing the SIXAXIS after this), b...

Vehicles, aircraft, possible underwater, whatever the case, this cover system seems immersing especially that you don't know when or from where you'll get flanked.

That's an adrenaline rush if you ask me. Frustrating I can imagine, but dynamic and it should keep you on your toes.

and if it does get made, it can't be called Diablo, that's for sure. I think the experience will be too different without Diablo, and if he does get resurrected, it will be kinda cheesy...

but for the sake of the community, I wish it to return. If it comes back, it works out for everybody I think, because every game I've ever played has had the option to turn it off.

I'll give this new "Touchsense" FF a try, and if it doesn't impress me, I'll just turn it off. Hopefully there's an option as such in the XMB to make it a bit easier than going to the options for every different game and saving settings.

In any case, we all win. Those like me...

it will undoubtedly end up one of the most robust racing experiences on the 360 by the end of this generation. I like what I saw from recent gameplay vids anyway, and announcements like this do well for anticipating the next entry.

"Right now it looks like we're going to get it on one and it's been difficult because there's a lot of content."

Says enough to my ears and eyes. Deliberately ignored what...? Sounds pretty cut and dry to me.

As far as burden of proof, you're absolutely right, but on the topic of gaming, and quotes while we're on the subject, should people really need to hunt for old links and sources every time they make a post? Is that to say that I can't make a decla...

Google is a wonderful resource, learn to use it. In fact, here's the URL if you can't even understand that much http://www.google.com

Have fun. It's entirely too simple, and I HAVE TO wonder how people can but turn a blind eye to one of the easiest resources before them by using the little cop out phrase "Link please!"

Bioware, Mass Effect, disc space in the search bar, and voila....lookie what I've fo...

These doom and gloom predictions are just beyond tired by now.

They're all the same, and they NEVER look at the bigger picture, no matter what system they focus on.

By this time next year, every system will have been out for at least two year, every system will have an install base of over 10 million, and every system will have a laundry list of good titles among the three of them. Take that to the bank.

I remember it previously looked very similar to UT3, as if it were some off-shoot mod for the game. Now it's got it's own distinct flair to it, and it looks pretty nice I must say.

Still don't know enough about it, but I welcome the evolution of it's style.

Now, anyone with even a pair of screws loose knows that DVD will eventually hit the wall within this generation. The thing is, developers won't just up and quit once that does happen. The great thing about devs is that they've got one Hell of a KNACK for working with what they have, and we've seen it with each and every generation. Each generation the PC community has enjoyed better hardware overall, with more RAM, bandwidth, GPU and CPU power, and pretty much anything you can imagine. Yet an...
