Resistance's weapons were a bunch of smoke and mirrors. They were mostly automatic, and just different ways to do damage. There weren't many status effects, reality warping, or game changing weapons. They were all different ways to attack the enemies.

Anyway, there's no negatives attached as the term may implicate. BD provides more space for devs, and the ability for our consoles to double as HD movie players. Those are facts, not spin, period.

In hindsight, they should have just released an HD-DVD inclusive to their console, as even though the format eventually died, it could still be used for games. We all know the saying that goes along with hindsight, though.
