Correct. You are the first person so far to notice it's in create mode. That means the person making the video also made the level. Sackboy is in hover mode, which is only available in create mode. At the lower edge of the screen are command prompts, which are conveniently blacked out. This video is a fake, an attempt to attract attention, site hits, discredit the game, etc. I know, I was fortunate enough to be in the beta.
Or while banging a hooker in GTA4!
I actually saw an elderly woman, in her 60's or 70's, playing BrainAge in the customer lounge at work.
To all the trolls:
Download the Halo:Keep it Clean video and tell me why Bungie stole Resistance's color palette.
My observation as well Blade. Bubbles.
I don't think that will happen with games with platinum trophies. You earn all the trophies and get the platinum. Then you download the expansion pack. Now do you lose the platinum, or have it without having earned all the trophies? And what if you are a later purchase and buy the expansion right away? If the expansion adds trophies, how do they handle it to keep it fair across the board?
It could be cool, depending how they implement it. Suppose as the host, you are the team leader. You land on a planet with several missions to complete, and it's your job to assemble teams as needed and assign the missions. Upon completion, your teams notify you via chat regarding the outcomes, or with info you need to assign/complete further missions. Upon replay, another person is host and assigns tasks, etc. Could be interesting.
It would be nice to know the cost and content of the DLC prior to release to assist in making a decision. If you already prefer the 360, it's a no-brainer. But if you prefer the PS3 it would suck to buy it on the 360, only to find the DLC unappealing or too costly. Good luck with your decision.
'OK, so there's probably something wrong with me'
Why would you think that? In fact, I think if it were possible to have a gay, transsexual, plastic-surgery-induced transmogrifying best friend in the days of Aesop or Grimm, they would surely have written a children's bedtime story about it. Just think of what Dr Suess would have been able to do with it.
Based on what evaluation process?
I'll be getting this on the 9th. The video on PSN is amazing.
What screen tearing?
It's a result of their 'Ship now, Patch later' policy. It's occurred numerous times with software, now there's the hardware issue. Knowingly shipping faulty merchandise is wrong, period. By the way, I am typing this very quietly so my 'up to now failure free' 360 Pro doesn't catch wind of this and punish me.
So....just don't click the links...it's easy...it takes no effort to NOT do something...no clicking...no complaining...it really is that simple.
Got to love him. A man with character making games with character.
'I think the fact that you only get to see like three quarters of the first act when there is five acts tells you that there is still quite a lot that remains to be seen.'
This quote is from the Cliffy B interview in Dpad. Extrapolating one act equals one hour so five acts equals five hours is fair, and probably in the ballpark. Designers have game flow to think about, so you're nor going to see four forty minute acts and one twenty hour act. Have some carbs man, your low bl...
You're talking about the 'fire resistant' plastic, right?
That is utterly ridiculous logic. The fact that someone doesn't have faith in something beyond themselves, doesn't automatically mean they have that faith in themselves. I'd be willing to bet that insecurity, low self-esteem, etc., occur at the same rate among believers and non-believers alike.
Timesplitter, what about all the Leftist indoctrination that goes on in schools all across the USA everyday? All schools should be teaching students 'how to think', instead of 'what to think'.
And anyone insisting on 'Separation of Church and State' in the USA, please tell me where that phrase appears in the constitution.
It's in the developer's best interest to implement screen capture and host it online. It improves the community aspect and can give games longer legs.
