When there is a significant difference between console versions, I'd like to know. That's one of the benefits of being a dual console owner, behind being able to play exclusives, of course. But if the difference is I have to boot both versions, and pause at just the right spot to find this version has 13 more jaggies than the other version, give me a break and give it a rest. You're completely missing the point. I did not assert that the PS3 was more powerful. I did not say PS3 games deserve preferential treatment, but equal treatment. If a graphical glitch that the PS3 has on a multiplat is enough to lower the score, the same should hold true when the 360 version comes up short, bottom line. That's just simply fairness and honesty in the review system.

Wrong, Jay. 360 installs will remain optional until such time as all 360s have HDD's standard. Then devs will be able to and will use the HDD, for mandatory installs.
I've known a few people who have done this. Your 360 RRODs. You contact MS and wait for a shipping box to arrive. Then it's down to Best Buy to buy an arcade model, install the HDD from your RRODed 360 and enjoy. Two to three weeks later, your console comes back from MS.
Your HDD goes back to your repaired unit and the arcade gets returned to Best Buy within their 30 day return policy and you get your money back. If you have a credit card, you don't even have to layout the cash in ...

Has anyone considered these issues may have been identified and addressed through the private beta, and now the public beta is being used to test the infrastructure? Poor collision detection/unbalance in gameplay will not affect server load, so thinking this is all new unknown issues with Insomniac is guessing at best.

Well I'm an adult, and I'd be willing to bet I've been an adult a few more years than you, and chat, private and cross game, is the only advantage XBL has over PSN. R:FoM plays as well as any shooter on XBL, and the R2 beta is outstanding.
