PSN doesn't have demos? I could have sworn I just downloaded a half a dozen demos for my PSP and currently have about 10 PS3 demos on my hard drive.

What makes you think MS's thought processes run faster than Sony's?
How do you know that Sony doesn't already have that next killer idea that MS hasn't had yet?

I use GameStop for pre-orders and nothing more. They definitely screw you on trade-ins. Anyone defending their excessive profiteering should have no problem paying $4 and more for a gallon of gas, and should be rabidly defending the oil companies. And please, don't tell me you have a choice with GS but not with gas. You always have choices...none may seem palatable, but they are choices nonetheless.

Oh, I get it now. It's only the GPU, not the CPU or media storage that define a console. The cell is unlike anything else in a gaming console, and it's the POWER OF THE CPU which makes games fun. If you want to play beautiful games that suck go ahead...and what does it cost to purchase a true high-end PC to play the most graphics intense games - two to three times the cost of a console? It isn't unreasonable to think that the 360 is closer to being maxed out. Due to it's similarity in architecture to PC's there is a lot of code that has been optimized, or nearly so, just due to the amount of time people have been able to work with the architecture. Does that mean there's not more muscle to be squeezed out? No! Does that mean it's a weak or bad machine? Absolutely not, and I enjoy mine on a near daily basis.

You guys are insane. I own both consoles and have not had trouble with either, fortunately. However, I know someone who has gone through three 360s and one 360 Elite since Christmas 2006. As a guitar player, I feel that GH does a decent job of approximating the 'experience' of playing guitar on some songs...on others not so much.
I hate all this greatest guitarist stuff though. There are some players who are technically proficient (Hendrix, Howe, Lifeson, Page, Blackmore, etc) who play enjoyable music.
