Well I like the new Cole over the last one. Same goes for Fisher in SC. I'm not sure about the new Max Payne though, or the new Dante.
Amongst the average is the odd gem you don't hear about, but this one sounds like it ain't it.
The Kinect games sound pretty average...even though Michael Jackson The Experience is supposed to be good, I will certainly not be getting that one!
Assassin's sounds great!!!
I much prefer this type of strategy game to those games that just reward quick fingers. Civ Rev proved you could do this sort of game well on 360, so it's too bad this one wasn't extended to it.
Getting crowded in here....lol
I'm not a pink hair fan, lol. Yeah I think these XBLA games could be much better marketed.
I've ordered a few things online myself and many of them show up wet, or damaged (I got a Altair figure with broken daggers on the front). Or games with broken plastic disc holders so the disc has been scratched in the case.
This has never been the case when I bought from a store where I could see the item first....
When there is no competition, prices inevitably rise...so I like the indies.
In Australia? Cause I think he's talking about there.
YOu know what I'm going to do to fight this trend?
I'm going to go to the game trade sites and ask for the bits I want (artbook, figure whatever) that others want to get rid of and just buy them separate, and get the game also separate and cheaper!!!
I'm not a big fan of exclusive deals between the publishers and "X retailer here" either. I like competition on pricing too.
On the other hand, many online stores without the cost of storefront rental and staff can easily undercut retail outlets, so having these exclusive LE editions can help keep the stores getting sales too I guess (unless everyone orders them from the online stores of these retailers like EB etc...)
It's a toss up.
Ah...that's better then...
??? Hmmmm
That's exactly what I think...
If I was being cynical I'd be inclined to think that EA may have known that they might have to get rid of the Taliban name from the game but also knew they would get lots and lots of publicity from the inevitable s*** storm.
I'm still surprised that EA went with this game after the whole Six Days in Falluja game controversy...and that one was with more input from soldiers if I'm correct.
Actually I would have liked it if MGS4 was several gig LESS with less of the soap opera drama vids!
Great game still though.
Different enough for me :)
This game looks to be getting some good after release support now
Yes I agree. I believe that under 'artistic license' and attempting to be a 'mature game' Modern Warfare 2 started all this "lets be insensitive and get attention' publicity with "No Russian" level. They knew it because they even made the level "skip-able".
Now MOH is copying the modern setting and also doing the attention grabbing with Taliban, but then to please the maximum, they pull out of it.
Time to leave m...
