This is just nonsense obviously and a cheap shot at changing the focus of what's really going on.

Speaking of demo's. I'm completely hooked on the Formula 1 Championships demo. That game is INSANE! I'm usually not into Sim-racers, but this game is just so awesome, I'm definitely going to pick this one up.
At first the controls are twitchy as hell, and it's incredibly hard. But then when you get a feel for it, you really get into it. The sense of speed is incredible and when you get good at it, the fun really starts!

The A.I is dumb for several reasons. The Gametrailers video review illustrates this perfectly.
You can kill a guy right in their line of sight and they won't notice a thing. Then you go into 'blend mode' and all of a sudden you're 'invisible'. It's just inredibly dumb. And this is basicly true fo all the videos I've seen of this game (and I watched a LOT of them).
And yes, the A.I in games like Splinter Cell and as you say MGS (I never played an MGS game so I do...

The A.I. in this game is of the dumbest I've seen in a while. Lifelike, perhaps, if you go by the intelligence of some people here (like the ones that disagree with me without having the decency to reply with solid arguments).

I think this is pretty much to be expected. Some reviewers will give 9.5's, others 9's and other reviewers 8.5's. I think the game will average just above a 9, which is really good!
Regardless, this game to me looks like AAA material, although at this point it's only speculation obviously, as I haven't played the game yet.
Scores have always varied and sometimes more extreme than others. This is not new. I do agree however that giving out false information about the different versions is just not done and extremely confusing for use who are trying to figure out wich version to get.
But, I've also noticed that people tend to go a bit crazy when the reviews don't meet their expectations. All of a sudden, the reviewers are either biased or incapable and as soon as those same reviewers review another...
I expected this game to get good scores, it sure looks like a bunch of fun.
Only downside is that it only took him 8 hours to play through the game. I guess this confirms what I've noticed before: When the developer says 12-15 hours, it's more like 8 hours. Same with Gears, they said it would last 12+ hours, and it didn't even last 8, more like 6 hours.
I'd get this game if it was 15+ hours, but I can't pay 60 Euro's for 8 hours of gameplay, it's just not done.

After someone commented on Gamespot stating that the PS3 version has a better framerate he says:

This is like comparing Michael Jackson with Pavarotti. Ok they're both singers, but that's where the comparisons pretty much end.
There's no point stacking these games head to head, they're just so completely different, it's not even funny anymore.
Regardless whether it's true or not, this is just standard developer talk.

They probably retracted points because of the tearing/pop-in and frame drops. You can have all the pretty graphics in the world, but if it isn't polished properly, it looses it's shine a bit.
Also, art is subjective. Metroid Prime could score a 10 for graphics because of the artistic achievements, even if it's on an "inferiour" platform, technically.
Btw, have you beaten the game yet? If not, then you cannot claim the game deserves a higher score. Atlea...

With the Skate video and screenshot comparison they (Gamevideos.com) had switched both versions. The stated PS3 version was actually the 360 version as I found out when seeing both versions with my own eyes.
So I would take these comparison videos with a grain of salt. I couldn't care less which one is better to be honest, I won't get this game anyway. After the fiasco called NFS Carbon, they'll have to do better than this to get me to buy a NFS game again!
The AI is seriously lacking if I go by what I've heard, then again, it was pretty obvious from just watching the videos.
I mean, you can see stuff happening in the game that makes no sense at all, but it's a game afterall and you just can't have that many NPC's running around and have them act intelligently in some fairly complex situations. It's just to ambitious for this time. I guess it comes down to if these things bother you or not. Hence the mixed reviews of this game.

That's what I always thought GT was about, the variety and amount of different enviroments.
Cruising around those beautiful landscapes, cities and whatnot, that's what I want to see! Not some racing track we've all seen in 20 million different games.
But the header is going to cause a lot more confusion than necessary. You could just change it to something like:
"Rumor: Bioshock Coming To PS3 in 08 confirmed."

Previews of the likes have been posted months ago, and about 500.000 of them.
Either way, I'm hoping to see a new trailer soon. Really looking forward to this game. This should have been my GOTY 2007. :(
