N4G mods are biased and unprofessional

COD4 gets nothing but praise, Killzone got some praise from gamers that enjoyed the game, or from the rapid fanboys that will like anything with the Sony brand attached to it.

I myself absolutely LOVED Headhunter: Redemption. But the general opinion on this game is mediocre at best and most people didn't think all that much of the game, at all.

So who is right here?! That's the question.

But the standard model only has a 20 GB HDD with only 13 GB actually available.

So in order for this to work, people have to buy an Elite or buy the 120 GB propriety Microsoft HDD for what...150 Euro?!

And even then, if a game is 15-20 GB big, you can only fit a handfull of games on the HDD!

Not very likely.

The screens look very good, the lighting and textures are amazing. But it's something with the environments that look a bit off in the screens.

I don't know, it's just so lifeless. Too clean/sterile perhaps.

If this game arrives on multiple discs on the 360 and the PS3 version is equal in all other aspects, I'll go with the PS3 version. Even though I prefer the 360 controller. I just hate having to swap discs.

But if you only own a 360 and that's t...

Environments are bland, uninspired and repetitive. Controls are really, really bad (especially after playing something like COD4).

And well, it's just no fun, at all. Don't see this game averaging more than a 6/10.

It looks fantastic!

The gameplay looks like a ton of fun, and it's really making the 360 sing with all the physics going on, that's for sure. Graphicswise it's decent enough, but it's the physics that really make this game, imo.

Only thing that bothers and worries me is the lack of varied evironments, without that, it's useless to me.

But this might explain this case, but there have been so many cases where the 360 demo appears before the PS3 demo.

This time around, a year after launch, there are no excuses for this. I really hope to see some improvement in this sooner than later!

Edit: Confused.

The PS3 demos should just release at the same time as on the 360. AFAIK, PSN is very solid and has no issues whatsoever, so why this is still the case?!

It really puzzles me.

6592d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

The PS3 also has this annoying issue, atleast it did last Saturday when I played this game on my friends's PS3.

They better fix this sooner than later, it's annoying as hell. When you're having a great game and someone decides to leave because he's sucking at the game and happens to be the host, everyone get's kicked out. I don't understand how they let this through testing to begin with. It's really idiotic to say the least.

Otherwise the MP in this game is fant...

It just shows the kind of environment N4G really is. and it's not healthy.

Why won't we just start posting previews of previews of interviews next. And what about rumours of previews of interviews coming?!

Again, if you can't see what's wrong with posting stuff like this. We're done talking here.

Now if they actually gave some decent info on Uncharted 2 It'd be more than welcome, but this nonsense? Please.

Sorry for hurting your feelings, but this is spam. Period.

"Sound's like you only read the title like the typical bottom of the barrel scum we get on N4g."

Lol, whatever dude. I think you could do with some self-reflection and read up on some of my posting here on N4G.

I've enjoyed the previous installments plenty, but this one just isn't cutting it for me.

I'm starting to get a 'same old, same old' vibe here. The implementation of takedowns was awesome, it really pushed the series imo. But the new features in this installment (online/free-roaming) just aren't enough to get me excited.

I tried to like it with the demo, but I just can't get into it anymore.

How more often is someone from Naughty Dog going to repeat this pure marketing babble. This is ridiculous, honestly.

We know, the PS3 is very powerfull. I love my PS3 too, but this is just laying it on a bit too thick.

I already own a 360. I'm not stupid enough to go buy another 360 on top of that! Though apparently there are 360 owners that have done this believe it or not. Must have money growing out of their @ss or something. And those that just got an Elite would've really felt shafted!

One SKU is enough already!

*sigh* It used to be so simple. Just buy a console and the games and you're off. Now you feel shafted every few months when another SKU releases.

6602d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Just to clarify, I'm not buying this game at full price no. That's a given. But I might pick it up second hand for 20 Euro's, if it offers enough to justify that pricetag.

I don't know about Warhawk or what other people think about it's pricing. I'm talking about GT5p here now and what kind of standards I have for spending 40 Euro's. And mearly 5 environments is a HUGE dealbreaker. I'm someone who needs that diversation in environments to keep me interested for a longer period,...

But no way in hell is this the deciding factor in the "console wars".

All MS can do at this point is keep a serious advantage in terms of software and with some clever marketing they could get far, but I doubt they'll win this generation. Sony's brand name is just too strong for this and should not be underestimated.

Though, the real winner this gen is Nintendo. So it's basicly a battle between MS and Sony for 2nd and 3rd place. ;P

6602d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

$40 will be 40 Euro's here, which is only 20 Euro's less than the full game. And this game has what, 5 environments? Sorry, that's just not done.

Just a sincere inquiry here: What more does this game offer?

-What are the online modes?
-How many cars?
-Are the cars customizable, visually and technically?
-If there's no visual damage, is there atleast technical damage?

These are important factors to take into account. Even if the...

All the resolution fanboys are going @peshit, but little do they know this technology won't be introduced into gaming or tv/films for atleast another decade.

Higher resolution does not enhance the gaming experience as much as post-processing fx, better animations/transitions etc. This is why devs won't bother wasting their efforts on these insane resolutions for atleast another 10 years. Atm their struggling to get their games running at 720P with respectable graphics and perfo...

It looks like an Xbox/ps2 port, which in 2008 is just unacceptable. The game supposedly is good, but is this really necessary and desireable?

Might as well make the original BC and get it over with as I doubt it will introduce much more than a few minor updates/fixes.

2008 will be off to a slow start and explode somewhere around 3rd quarter. Offcourse there's GTA IV in April (my GOTY in terms of anticipation), but other than that I believe most big hitters will release Q3/Q4.

Looks a bit like 2007 in that regard. If not too many titles get a delay (some of them without a shadow of doubt will), 2008 will most likely destroy 2007 in terms of quality games.

Good times, good times indeed! :)

Shos us a game that actually looks and plays 3 times as good and then it'll be news worthy.

For now it's just a developer "advertising" it's own engine/skills. Not very interesting imo.

Also, I'm pretty sure this has actually been posted like months ago.
