;)
Seriously, this game has me and a lot of my friends (not actual gamers) hooked for months! This game (MP) is amazing!
Fair enough! :p
Gameplay looks pretty intense as well, but man...that must be the worst A.I. I've ever seen. Hope they'll adress that sooner than later.
I have bought exactly ONE game for my PS3...second hand (F1:CE). They really need to get more exclusives out, atleast for me anyway.
Multiplatform games I will get for the 360 because of the controller and Xbox Live and because they often have the edge over the PS3 counterpart (though that finally seems to be coming to an end).
If Sony wants to make money, they have to sell games. They have to make me want to buy games on the PS3 and for that...they need to get ...
The last two comments here on N4G have cost me 2 bubbles. Just shows what kind of trash visits this site. Well constructed posts with a healthy perspective obviously aren't very popular here!
Oh well, nothing worth crying over...although! ;P
Edit @ baum: Yes, that is the more likely scenario indeed (the "stupid" thing that is, I don't believe in the "sellout" myths myself). ;)
Have you seen some of the scores they've given to 360 games?
So tell me, who exactly are they then favouring over the PS3 and 360?
I'm getting a little tired of this bias bullsh*t, you fanboys are seriously pathetic. Everyday I read news on this site it get's more and more pathetic. Unbelievable.
The scores on average for MGS4 are amazing so far, so seriously...chill out.

What's next? "Gamer's grandfather falls from stairs and twists his ankle"
Sorry, but this is just outright wrong.
The long answer: NO WAY IN HELL!
Sorry, it won't even come close to the quality of GTA IV, of that I'm sure. Graphically it looks weak, the humor is of the worst I've ever encountered, characters are weak and extremely cliché.
The game might still be somewhat entertaining, but just the bare fact that the city lacks any kind of atmosphere/personality/credibi lity immediately kills the purpose of a game in this genre. The illusion of a living and breathing ci...
I was interested in The Getaway, too bad about that one.
Eight days on the other hand...I never bought into the obvious bullsh*t it was. That trailer was 100% CGI and NOT gameplay as so many people have stated on so many occasions.
I've had that discussion here and even warned people for this very thing, but the blind faith and naïve minds were so convinced that that trailer was actually ingame and that Eight Days would be so amazing, etc etc. It was obvious...
You can review a game by set aspects, but even then the score can differ greatly from review to review.
Graphics is highly subjective. One game can have all the technical bla bla, but may have horrible art-direction and design. Should the reviewer then just say: It has that much AA, good AF and high draw distance and give it a 10? That's just silly.
2 different reviewers can for instance point out 5 aspects of a game in their review. But one reviewer will put mor...
It's nice to see some gamers in here with a common sense of reality.
@kindi_boy, lol...that's just pathetic, seriously.
I see people from all sides whining about reviews. And it always boils down to the same thing, whichever "camp" you're on:
If the review score doesn't match your expectations, the reviewer/reviewing site is rubbish and are biased/payed off. Once the score does meet your expectations, they're the holy grail of reviewers!

Can't wait!
How many more previews before we get to see some gameplay footage! I'm seriously looking forward to this game, but enough with previews already!
Gears + jetpack + Crackdown + a little Mass Effect vibe in there is a must buy for me! (if well excecuted obviously)
Graphically it looks nice as well. I just hope the environments will show enough variation throughout. I hope they can throw in some more enemies on screen as well, along with some more intense audio/sound fx.
Waste of time going into all the different endings, like said here earlier...we all know they'll be marginally different. Hardly worth the effort.
Make that one ending worthwile, and you won't hear anyone asking for more.
But you're attitude here doesn't give you the benefit of the doubt, and I don't care what kind of blogs you point me to or how many 360's you own.
Coming in here and the first thing "coming out of your mouth" is how much better it'd be on the PS3 and how superiour the PS3 is and how much better KZ looks. It's the typical way of the N4G fanboy.
Funny though, as your blog contains exactly what I have in my user bio. And that makes your comment here even m...
There's nothing wrong with bringing KZ2 into the debat, but this comment just rieks of your typical Sony fanboy marketing bullsh*t.
I can see if one might think KZ2 looks better, I personally don't think so, but so be it. Saying KZ2 is leaps and bounds better looking than Gears 2 and stating that the PS3 would do so much better bla bla bla is another thing.
Anyone with a healthy bias will have a hard time to determine which of the two games looks better.
It was just a cynical digg at the media and politics of my own. ;)
I'm not sure that's such a good idea. I can see the headlines already: "Videogames turning kids into drug addicts".
I know, it's stated a bit overdramatic. But you know how the press and politics like to take off with stuff like this.
The scale is amazing! This has me more excited than KZ2 so far (though the press conference isn't over just yet!)
This and Gears2 really have my shooter fix fullfilled this year! :)
