N4G mods are biased and unprofessional

Sometimes it will work fine for a while and next thing it's all gone apesh*t.

Just now I got the weirdest thing: I went in to play some PGR3 online and I got the message:

"You have been banned from playing PGR3 on Xbox Live".

WTF???

So apparently it's a bug and a reboot of your 360 should fix this. Scared the sh*t out of me, especially now with all these "innocent banning" horror stories floating around.

Sort of.

Except for now. Matchmaking in Halo 3 can't find any games at all.

MS, fix your sh*t.

If it's so "BOOOOOORRRINNGGGGG" . Surely you must have better things to do?

Sony is way more user-friendly concerning the PS3 than MS is with the 360. I mean, I have a 360 and a PS3 and it's hard not to notice how MS really likes to shaft it's consumers.

For my 360 I had to get the proprietary wifi adapter a 75 Euro's (though I only payed 35 as I got it 2nd hand). For my PS3, it's built in (and both have equal signal strength).

For my 360 I had to purchase the proprietary wireless headset a 50 Euro's. For my PS3 I was able to use a bluet...

Lol. Perhaps if you actually read the very first post here in this item you'd realise how much of an idiot you just made yourself look like.

I own a 360, just as I own a PS3. I like both and actually prefer my 360 atm sololy because of it's exclusives library. If you actually don't see what's wrong with Zhuk's posting behaviour here, you're just as bad, if not worse than him.

I don't deal with ignorant fanboys like yourself on this site, whether it be PS3 or 360...

Ignore this reply.

That's exactly why I just put him on my ignore list and I suggest you do the same.

People like him who have absolutely no sense of reality or just post here to troll are just not worth wasting your time on. So just put him on your ignore list and he'll never annoy you again. Simple.

"Oblivion has some of the deepest RPG mechanics accompanied by the deepest gameplay mechanics I've ever seen in a game."

Notice the "I've" in there?

And to clarify, I've never played a game that includes: stealing mechanics, pickpocketing, burgling, looting, creating spells, casting spells, mixing ingredients, repairing weapons, echanting ranged and melee weapons, trading/selling all kind of stuff, hunting animals, riding horses, eavesdropping...

That said, I haven't seen the game running on a 360 so it's still anyones guess what this game will look like on it.

I only care for the 360 version (no PC gamer myself anymore), and I hope it will be as impressive on it as that early tech demo and the screenshots released. But I fear that they'll have to cut a few corners here and there to make it work on the 360.

Although, if I look at games like BIA:HH and Silent Hill 5, it might not be that far fetched at all...

So excited for this one. Oblivion has some of the deepest RPG mechanics accompanied by the deepest gameplay mechanics I've ever seen in a game. The gameplay possibilities in Oblivion are just endless!

Add a modern action combat system to that (kind of tired of the whole medievil setting really) and I'm in gaming heaven! Please release in 2008, PRETTY PLEASE!?

If it were to come out in February, we'd be playing the beta now.

Hopefully the beta will be out soon enough, and that it'll be an open beta as well. Can't wait to check it out!

I apologize if I came of as a bit of an ass myself. It's just that I made absolutely sure it hasn't been posted here on N4G before (I'm quite shocked it hasn't been posted earlier actually).

6616d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

If you can find this particular footage anywhere on N4G you're more than welcome to point that out. Just because this has been submitted on 18.12.2007 on some foreign site, doesn't make it old news here on N4G.

So please, elaborate.

"For all of their "differences" fanboys are exactly the same. They are exactly the same, they have the same personalities. So a 360 fanboy and a sony fanboy have A LOT in common when you think about it. Sad really, its like hating on someone because they are similar to you."

Hehe, yeah. That's classic right there. Bubble worthy stuff indeed! :)

It's nice to have an "intelligent" conversation on these boards for a change, I agree. ;) ...

It's physics calculation system, realtime damage calculation that realistically infuences performance from tyre wear to engine failure, realistic AI behaviour, in depth mechanical and visual tuning features etc etc. It's quite impressive actually. No other racer on a console can claim all this.

Ok, so the visual damage is pathetic and the graphics are mediocre at best and the amount of tracks and enviroments (mearly 10 enviroments) is a bit of a letdown as well. But it has the...

I don't care how great it looks or how many cars are in there, for that money I want atleast 10 tracks.

Also, this game has to have a proper damage system to call itself a driving simulator. It's just that simple. People keep on bashing Forza 2 for it's graphics, but meanwhile it does most other stuff very well. It certainly does a hell of a lot more than GT5 Prologue, that's for sure. And I can find Forza 2 new on the shelves for 50 bucks at most.

GT5 looks amaz...

Graphics aren't almighty no, but they are very important. I disagree with your assessment that graphics are mearly an added bonus. Great graphics have several meaningfull functions as: Creating atmosphere, immersing a player into the game etc. and additional functions like having great draw distances without pop-ins suddenly putting you to a halt in a car chase (Saints Row comes to mind), higher res textures for clearer feedback in the game (like reading signs, whatever) etc.

As for the game as a whole, Forza 2. It's not my kind of game really, but I recognize it's accomplishments:

Great online features, very deep visual customization options, very deep technical customization options that realistically influence the driving performances. Realistic physics and damage calculation (except for the visual damage which is very poor indeed). Graphics are mediocre at best though and in terms of enviroments/tracks and game-modes it's pathetic.
