...or Gamefly simply won't offer Xbox One games.
Let's not sugarcoat it. If Microsoft's content control is that serious, it's all in Gamefly's power to concentrate on PS4/WiiU/PS3/360/Wii titles and completely alienate Xbox One like Xbox One has alienated everyone else.
Microsoft's "Used Fee" is still in political limbo as Microsoft has released some much conflicting information that they have not confirmed nor denied that us...
@Root
GT5P was more of a glorified demo in comparison to GT5, much less GT5 Spec 2.0.
That said you could consider GT5 pre-Spec 2.0 and post-Spec 2.0 two separate games. Spec 2.0 added SO much that GT5 became almost a whole new game.
My thought on what would be limited would be specific single player sections that may violate Facebook's, Youtube, and whatever other sites will be linked in terms of use, aka sex and nudity. This will cut down the amount of censoring the website be submitted to has to do from the get go.
Personally I'm fine with this if it is the case. Honestly I'm fairly antisocial and probably won't be using the share features much short of the occasional "cool s**t ju...
I never said they were in exactly the same state (only close) as Sega, but Sega's case proves that it doesn't take much.
Remember there are some parallels here between Nintendo and Sega.
1) Both are/were Game Console Makers and Game Publishers - First - Foremost - Only
2) Both due to their limited scope of products have run higher risk when they loose; they don't have other markets (like Sony and Microsoft) to fall back on
3) Both have had ...
Nintendo needs to tread carefully. They are almost in the same state as Sega; at the moment not exactly, but getting there. Sega failed because it put out too many consoles in a row that ultimately did not sell. The Dreamcast was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
The 3DS and Nintendo's last minute save of it along with the stupidly lucky success of the Wii is the only thing keeping them in the game right now. We can all agree that the WiiU is not doing very ...
Any free games obtained via PS+ are lost if the subscription end, however ANYTHING purchased with the PS+ discount or "other" free content such as add-ons, premium themes, and such you DO get to keep.
I got to keep all the free premium themes I had downloaded with my free 3 month PS+ subscription, along with anything I purchased at a discount.
If you are already paying for PS+ though and getting all those free games and taking advantage of the disco...
@Darrius Cole
Remember that XBL fees are money in Microsoft's hands, not the publisher or developer. This is why day 1 on disc DLC exists; publishers are trying to recoup however they can.
I have no issue with online passes as they are a "fair" compromise. Remember you have a choice to buy new at $60 (online pass included free) or used at $45-50 and then optionally (key word here) purchase the online pass for $10.
All that being...
as kneon said
There is overhead involved in games. Working were I do, I can tell you that most games once they hit distribution warehouses (the places before actual retail stores) the cost they're selling them for is on average around $45 (for a $60 game).
So you figure they are making $10-$15, that's roughly $30 direct from the publisher's distribution companies. Let's take away another $5 per game to cover additional shipping and distributio...
Your comment made me think of Otacon. :)
SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!
Really, though as annoying as he is (Otacon) I don't think he necessarily makes it passed their top 5. There a many more annoying characters out there.

I understand that not every used game retailer is ripping their customers off. Smaller "mom and pop" stores tend to be more honest and live with smaller margins. It's unfortunate that they get dragged down with corporate a-holes such as GameStop.
Sadly though, the honest only make up the few. The biggest players in the used game market and the ones who have the greatest stake in it are those like GameStop. Why? Because they rip their ...
@nukeitall
Honest business?! Seriously you realize used games retailers rip you the hell off right? Used games are a racket.
Gamestop is buying those games for $5-$20 and reselling them at $5 less than a new retail version. Gamestop stands to make $30-$40 PROFIT off used games versus $10-20 on new ones. All this so you can save $5-$10 from buying it new? For games with online passes you can kiss any of that savings goodbye.
I disowned Gamesto...
To those saying PowerPC cannot be emulated on an x86 architecture... Apple's Rosetta say's "HI!".
However, Rosetta applications run like a giant turd. It was only meant to transition PPC users to Intel slowly and give developers time to create Universal binaries or purely Intel ones. Apple has since dumped Rosetta in 10.7.x and up.
So, Microsoft "could" do it in software, but it will either run very slow and/or have "glitches&...
Yes, weapons alone won't make the game instantly easier, but like you said it does give you a hell of a head start versus not getting the equipment in the first place. Also, once you gain a few levels, high level equipment scales pretty damn fast due to bonuses gained off the STR, DEX, INT, and FTH stats ('till LVL 40-50 in each stat - bonuses become less apparent beyond those levels).
Also, for truly "noob" players internet wikis were created for a reason a...
In regards to the article and not the comments above, the author's issue stems from the fact that he lost desire to keep playing Dark Souls because another player "gifted" him lots of equipment and items, thus removing much of the challenge from the game by 1) not getting those items on his own and 2) not progressing through the game with much lower level equipment and bringing the equipment up to higher levels himself.
This is why I'm playing Dark Souls off...
Loved Saboteur, didn't mind the grinding. Congrats on GTA4 due to the multiplayer trophy; unless you get paired with those attempting to get the trophy, everyone tends to act like a d-bag and just run around not caring at all about the co-op mission.

88 Golds
314 Silvers
1335 Bronzes

There is no curse. It's just the console market is only big enough for 2 and a half major players. The half meaning a company that is either not "all-in" or struggles to compete with the two bigger players.
EVERY market tends to fall into a dichotomy where you have two major players slugging it over for market share (Apple/Microsoft or Mac/PC, Pepsi/Coke, Nintendo/SEGA in days of ol', etc.). Sure you have tertiary companies that also compete for the same sha...
@IlluminatusV
Yeah. My setup is what I ended on (Lvl 40 in all stats in New Game +). Trust me it is not for beginners.
I always went for spears, again because you can constantly block while attacking (Offensive-Defense). Some people like to run around though and for that style one-handed swords work well. Tanking (High armor and two handed, slow attacking high damage weapons) cannot be done in Demon's Souls until you reach very high levels, until then you...
Yeah...as a DS vet I have died a lot, but it was only so I could manipulate the world tendencies to black.
Once you have gotten each world down you learn to pace yourself and don't die often.
Tips for new players:
1) Unless manipulating world tendencies - STAY IN SOUL-FORM!!!
2) Shield Up ALWAYS
3) Use Spears - they allow you long reach and you can keep your shield up while attacking
4) Pace yourself and memorize enemy loca...
@Diver
Sony didn't patent playing games from BluRay, but more that Microsoft refuses to pay the BluRay Consortium and indirectly Sony licensing to use the technology.
Remember Microsoft half-backed the wrong horse (HD-DVD) and lost. Add to the fact Microsoft is too late to the game to be on the Board of Directors or the Contributing members.

The ISPs in the US aren't as rosy either. I know for a fact Comcast has caps and they are one of the major ISPs throughout the US. Personally, in my area COX is the ISP of choice, ATTUverse is the alternative and it is a joke. My ISP has bandwidth limitations, but they are so stupidly high that you would need to be abusing the hell out of your connection by downloading gigs on gigs on gigs of data every day.
All that said, bandwidth limitations ar...
