In my own opinion Free Aim is actually much better. It far easier to line up head shots in Free Aim with Aim Sensitivity at 70%+ (I prefer right about 70%).
I disabled auto-aim and attempted to use "assisted"-aim for a while to give it a chance but just like auto-aim I found it would focus on the wrong target I intended because two or more people were close together that the game "chose" what it thought I wanted. This irritated the living crap out of me an...
1) Saint's Row is not that bad. I'll admit I never took ANY interest in it until I got SR3 with PS+, but SR3 and SR4 have that "fun" factor that GTA used to have with GTA3 and GTAVC. GTA4 would have been nice if the damn "friends" would have stopped calling to do crap every 10 minutes. Saint's Row you play at your own pace; do what you want when you want.
2) This game looks to have scale on par with (maybe exceeding) Just Cause 2. As far as thi...
DayZ,
I agree with you on waiting for a more professional comparison.
Screenshots are one thing (and these aren't even good screenshots). They say 1280x720, but all these screens look like poo on my computer. I want a full 1080P capture, even if it's upscaled by the system (hopefully upscaled by the system and not post-capture).
Also, I don't want screenshots. I want full motion video, because what really matters as far as differe...
Why are people up in arms about this now?
Why are people not jumping all over other games like ANY Team Ninja game, Bayonetta, or hell even Lollipop Chainsaw? Feel free to add more if you like.
People who are this overprotective of sexism in any sort of media need to open their damn minds.
Anyone with half a brain that has played the Metal Gear series knows that despite the sexploitation (which is tame in comparison to other games) the female...
Seriously? Is that Miley 'shopped on Quiet?
What has become of society?
Dastru is correct. In fact, you want to minimize how much you write to SSDs as there lifespan is measured in number of writes to "blocks". This is why OS's enable "TRIM" when SSDs are detected.
When data is written to an SSD an entire "block" must be written/rewritten to regardless of how much data is written to the block. TRIM holds off all write commands until an entire block can be filled so that you minimize rewrites to the same block. Th...
Something I have always been surprised about was the lack of a Japanese release date announcement. Sony has really seemed to concentrate on areas outside the "homeland" and even more surprisingly no one has seemed to care about Japan.
If I was in Japan I'd probably be a little upset by the lack of information concerning their market. I know Japan is die hard for Japanese made products and lets a lot of things slide especially when the only other competition has ...
Of course. Just because of this you'll be assured $200 Monster HDMI 2.0 cables that are just re-branded $15 made in China HDMI 2.0 cables.
The savvy shopper will avoid the bloated cables as they always have. There is NO reason for any reasonable length (3ft-10ft) of HDMI 1.3, 1.4, or 2.0 cables to cost more than $20-25 for a quality cable.
I can understand $100+ on cables over 50ft as the gauge of the wire MUST get bigger (smaller number) to have the abil...
I wouldn't ever go to the extreme and say the series is dead. The series is suffering from the "Call of Duty" effect though. The series is pumping out games almost yearly and being "subjectively" watered down.
It hard to deny how much Assassin's Creed has changed from AC1 and AC2. I really think the series plateaued around Revelations and Brotherhood. AC3 did bring a lot of new things to the table but it lost the heart and soul the earlier games ha...
This is good for EU. Both are great games, though I feel some may have one or the other or both. Personally I have both, but I'm in the US and the US usually gets very different games for Plus, so not a biggie for me.
Have fun with Jak II. There are a couple missions in it that will make you rage to no end. If you can make it to a second play through on Challenge mode the "cheats" you can unlock with the orbs (Infinite Ammo, Health, and Eco unlock earlier on Cha...
I hope they are kidding about the "IR blaster". I think IR blasters are atrocious in design and function. HDMI controlling is the way to go as there is nothing visible connecting and syncing all the devices.
HDMI already supports passing commands through to devices and it's this method I hope is truly used. Different manufacturers have their own name for this (Samsung calls it Anynet+) but it is all the same thing.
My PS3 supports this HDMI comm...
Apple? or Nintendo? or Both?
Really it doesn't matter. This has always been Microsoft's weakness. They have a problem with chasing fads on their "downtrend". Any company successful with a "fad" product is successful because they tried something risky and got lucky.
The iPhone in its first inception was a damn risky move for Apple because it was something completely new for them. To make it somewhat less risky they spent MONTHS rese...
I had no issues with the XMB. It was simple, efficient and intuitive. I can understand the change on the Vita due to the ability to utilize the touch input for the interface, but it sometimes felt clunky while I was using it.
The original 360 "Blade" interface was a little more "clunky" (my opinion) than the XMB-style, but it was still simple, quick, and usable. The Metro-style interface that is now on the 360 and looks to be on the Xbox One is a nightmare...
Personally (opinion) I wish there was more color. I wish it was more like the DS3 controllers, maybe leave the touchpad black to allow it to stand out. As is, it comes off as a two-tone color instead of one unique color. I like the colors, just not the amount. To each their own.
This is a minor flaw I just noticed with ALL my DualShock controllers (PS1, PS2, PS3). If left unused the rubber on the analog sticks gets sticky for some reason.
I don't know if it has something to due with humidity or what? If you use the controller regularly this never happens. Let a controller sit unused for a month or so and you'll notice the goo. I little alcohol and a soft cloth are all that it takes to fix it. I also recommend rubber covers like these:

I agree with the speeds on Hitman above. I have a mediocre connection (29.5Mbps/14.11Mbps - just run on speedtest.net) and I believe it took a couple hours to download. I was in another room while it was background downloading so I'm not finite on the time.
Sony's service is fine. The real determining factor of how fast you download stuff from their server is your connection and whether or not there is a "crappy" internet routing server that can create a bot...
Yeap and for games that do that I will try to use a GFWL-removal "patch" when I can. Many GFWL-enabled Steam games have them available. GFWL is broken and annoying and tends to be the reasons for most games' instability in Windows.
Note I put "patch" in quotes, for those that are naive and can't read between the lines "patch" also means "crack". I'm not going to condone anything illegal, but if you have legitimately obtained...
The Original Wii (not the WiiMini or WiiU) could play GameCube games because it literally still had the GameCube hardware inside because the Wii hardware was literally upgraded GameCube hardware. The core architecture of the console never changed, just some components (CPU and GPU) were faster - just a few minor components need to be left in for full backwards compatibility though ALL of the Wii related hardware (controllers, SD card and sensor bar) shuts off when you go to the GameCube mode....
*couldn't whore the blend
For some people it's the small insignificant details just like those that make them smile. I know it is stupid, but that's the little kid in everyone.
You may think this and the fan noise maybe stupid things that no one would give two hoots about, but there are still people who like to hear little tidbits like this. You may not feel the same way about the PS4, but I'm sure at some point in your life you have felt a similar way about something.
Now...
