Gee Forrester, please elaborate on how Kinect has anything to do with digital TV content? What a ridiculous statement. For anyone who hasn't tried it, navigating menus by waving your arms is an exercise in extreme frustration.
Sony is the one in prime position to capitalize on digital TV, not Microsoft. Here's why:
Almost all their consoles have at least a 60GB drives, most have 120. Many of Microsoft's don't have any or have 20GB drives with...
This is great news! Can't wait to see their first game. Sorry, I don't have approve option but please Approve this if you can.
LOL at the driver animation lifting his hand to indicate it's time to shift. The driver in this video needs another one lifting a knee to indicate it's time to brake!
Am *so* much better this generation than last. Still have a to-play stack but only a few are shameful since I don't really want to finish them but somehow feel obligated:
GTA4: about 60% complete but now just seems soooo boring
Advanced Warfighter: Fun but there's similar but better games now
Perfect Dark Zero: Actually like this but never seem to finish
Scaler: Fun but a last-gen holdover
Sky Odyssey: Been on my shame stack so long it&...

Yes! Tourist Trophy was great for what it was. Here's a seat-view of a Hayabusa on the Nurburgring:

Manhunt was one of my favorite stealth games. Note to self: try Manhunt 2.
Cool! Just made a trade for this game and will get it in a few days. Never even heard of it before but after reading the reviews it looks like a fun game. Stealth, CQC, platforming.. what's not to like? Even added the movies to the top of the netflix queue to get ready. :)
Agree completely. The example he uses to support his point actually shows the complete opposite. Ted Price only claimed that his team makes the most efficient use of the SPUs in the PS3 - not that they make the best games in the industry or they're better than everyone else. It's quite a bastardization of words to come up with that headline from his original quote, and one that is not innocent nor a misinterpretation. It was done deliberately to increase traffic at the expense of jour...
Not one mention of freezing? How bad is the freezing really?
I really enjoyed Tourist Trophy (Motorcycle Racing by Polyphony) even though it never felt like a complete game. Most of the problems were compromises due to the limitations of the PS2 at the time.
The bikes were beautiful with a ridiculous number of polygons. Physics were kind of messed up at really low and really high speeds but in-between they were excellent. Can't wait to see them back on the PS3!
If they can't do an artistic game well then I agree with Jaffe, don't do it at all and just focus on the gameplay. I enjoy plenty of games with no story and mediocre graphics as long as they don't take themselves too seriously. That being said, I tend enjoy games more that have great voice acting, great cinematics and an intriguing story.
I'm confused... you're already a member but wont get QfB? It's only for 'new' members, not existing members?
Where do you get the idea it's co-op only? Just play by yourself - problem solved.
I *love* Insomniac and the Resistance series but this trailer isn't doing it for me. I'm buying it regardless, but what's up with the western theme?
Can't wait to see how they ramp up the difficulty since R&C is already kind of easy with only one player.
They missed the best reason to buy online - THE DEALS! Why pay full price when you can usually get a $10 gift card and often for less.
Regarding uninformed employees... think of advice like a smorgasbord - take what you like and leave the rest.
It definitely looks slowed down and faked. Nevertheless, they do need to fix that percent-complete meter since it hovers at 95% for like 1/2 the time. I hate when games do this, make the meter reflect the actual wait time... and if you need to fudge it somewhere, make it run *faster* at the end, not slower.
Anyways, most tracks are 3-4 miles while Nurburgring (depending on the version) is around 17 miles, so yea, it always takes a long time to load.
Did the same thing last generation. By the end had over 150 games and never completed well over half of them. This gen, I've mostly stopped doing it. Mostly by only buying one game at a time and finishing it before moving on. It actually saves money since games get cheaper the longer you wait.
That being said, I still have a decent backlog of games since I trade games on Gametz.com (and other sites) and also take advantage of great deals when they come along. Some games I...
Me too
That explains the lag.
