What are you going to do with your ps2 ones? Keep them or sell?
It's great an online pass isn't required. The message gamers should take from this is that online passes do in fact harm the online community of the games that include them.
They don't want online passes for games that might not have a large number of online players, which is another way of saying that online passes greatly reduce the number of people who play online - especially a few months after their release.
David Jaffee said the same thing...
I don't really care either way except I have a ton of points already so as long as they convert them to dollars it's all good.
I still love my PSP. The only two problems with it are 1. Rampant piracy that prohibits publishers from developing for it. 2. The lack of dual sticks.
More game modes would be cool. Their Warhawk DLC was a great value so I'm really looking forward to what they'll offer for Starhawk.
I was super excited at the $250 price but after finding out it requires a memory card and that they're marked up 300%, that's a major turn off.
Now I'm not getting one until it either includes a memory card or the price + a memory card is $250 or less. If they were normally priced it wouldn't have even mattered but those prices just ticked me off. I hate that MS does it too for that matter.
This is the first time I've seen a release date... the article says February 1st.
This looks awesome. Looks like it's only for the PC, unfortunately. If you're like me and don't know anything about this... here's the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Thanks to everyone who played the Beta for your opinions... very interesting!
Thanks for making us aware of "El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron," it looks amazing!
I didn't care for the demo of "Yakuza 4," and "Ace Combat: Assault Horizon" was HORRIBLE since they ruined dogfighting with the DFM (Dog Fighting Mode) - AC deserves to fail for that.
Outland demo is pretty good, might get it someday. We *LOVED* "Rayman Origins" and ordered it for Christmas. Rayman Origins is definitely the slee...
I already bought a 16GB Sony M2 memory card that's useless in anything but Sony stuff but that's not good enough so they want to gouge me all over again.
The first one comes with lube.
Yeah, it's pretty amazing Warhawk is still so popular.
Looks like the standard weapons all have zoom now. Also the hawks don't seem like they can hover.. but not sure. Can't wait for this game!
The article mentions the beta starts later this month? That's a mistake right? I thought the beta wasn't till early next year?
No, you're wrong.. read this: http://www.gamespot.com/new...
Digital downloads will never replace physical media until the free market can determine the prices. Otherwise you get what we have now which is 5 year old games selling day one prices.
The used game market is integral to the gaming economy as a whole and does not 'hurt the industry' as you ...
This game badly needs a demo. The videos look good but without trying out the driving physics it's a total crap-shoot whether you'll like it or not.
Let us trade & sell our digital copies and then we'll talk.
Have to admit when I'm wrong and definitely didn't think Kinect would do so well at such a high price. Kudos to MS for selling so many units on the back of mostly one game.
That second pic is of an Ariel Atom.. one of the coolest, fastest cars on the road that's actually affordable.
You're exactly right, it's the memory cards that are overpriced. That's what changed my mind from a day 1 purchase to, hell no, I'm getting screwed on a stupid memory card.
Others don't seem to mind but when I know about how much something costs I can't just bend over and be gouged on it. It's like paying Microsoft $100 for a network adapter, that's absurd, but many people just say "Hey, they work hard and deserve to make money off you.&qu...
