They need *real* discounts. Sony poops out little 5% discounts and acts so proud, give us real discounts! Real discount lives matter.
EA supports pay-to-win DLC. They may as well get rid of the pretense and show a bid screen before each match to see how much you're willing to spend to win.
From the article: Citing people's desires to collect and trade, Jorgenson said players will "typically pay money to beat their friends."
Yes, they're still available. $829 including shipping in the US.
They might be the same to begin with, but some well purchased DLC will fix that right up and have you winning over fools who are too cheap to pay.
This is very true and you already see it in the current VR demos. Some utilize VR's unique experience giving you something interesting. Others are no different than any other game, just with a 3D screen attached to your head - i.e. no meaningful head-tracking, etc.
There's only been a small handful of excellent 3D movies while the rest are like you said, post-processed enhancement of 2D films. Since VR rigs will probably be even less popular than 3D televisions (initi...
Holy crap never thought about VR dogfighting... I love dogfighting.. that sounds amazing! Solves the problem of seeing behind you while you maneuver a lot better than a little HAT stick. I bet simulators are pretty cool too. Have you tried one? I have the sudden urge to practice takeoff and landings from an aircraft carrier in an f14. VR cannot get here soon enough.
Doesn't include "Donkey Kong Jr." It has fun vine-climbing mechanics and makes Mario the villain!
The #3 game on the list "Donkey Kong Country Returns" is ported to the 3DS and is excellent if you like the series. Come to think of it, DKJr is also on the 3DS (virtual console) and is on sale this week.
What's the price?
Thunder Blade is also good.
I like when games let you choose the difficulty and you are rewarded more the harder you choose. For example Kid Icarus and Gran Turismo.
Huge fan of VR but have to agree it's way too expensive for it to take off in the mass market. At least these dedicated devices. Your analogy is perfect: luxury devices like wheels, kinect, etc, except a lot more expensive.
Agree VR is too expensive but it's coming this year that's for certain. It's brand new so the games will be hit and miss but VR is no gimmick. When done right it's a genuinely new experience and we're super lucky to be a part of it when it's just starting.
If you already own a PS4 is it worth another $400 for a headset, two Moves and a camera? That remains to be seen. I'm waiting to try them all to see which one is best but am definitely buying on...
Agree that mobile vr is the next important platform for the reasons you mention and also the amount of software and ease of appstores. However AAA gaming is going to be amazing for those who pay and IMO, based on your post, you will be among us. haha.
Where did you hear about digital backwards compatibility?
Animations have a 'choppy' feel instead of smooth at 30fps. This is EA once again racing to redefine the lowest standards in gaming - it's sadly what they do best.
Looking forward to this!
We checked with the Washington Attorney General's Office who said it would only be considered "deceptive" pricing if the store didn't first try selling the items at the higher price, for a reasonable amount of time.
The fact that EA's Battlefront didn't win anything speaks volumes to the high integrity of the awards. You know they were offered mad stacks of cash to win and probably even a little blackmail but they did not wilt. Thank you!
Ended up buying Metal Gear Solid 5 based in part on the glowing reviews it received during the awards and it's really good.
I played Child of Eden on a 3D tv and it is so beautiful and immersive, it will be stunning in VR. Didn't like the Move control option since 'shoot' uses a stabbing motion that doesn't feel right. Hope they refine that (and make the game:)
Manhunt VR!!
