I was thinking the same thing! Amazing how much depth one game can have.
Another amusing article. So many fun (if annoying) memories. The only time I get annoyed with Pokemon trainers is when they can call me at any time they want, I'm looking at you Gold and Silver.
Also a big fan of Tim Schafer and Double Fine. Wish I could run Brutal Legend on my laptop, it's so poorly optimised, which is a shame because it looks like a lot of fun if it runs well.
Really enjoying these. Well written and easy to understand descriptions.
Looked so promising from its visuals, sad that it has monotonous gameplay and little to no interaction with the actual world and its inhabitants.
The ultimate decider for me tends to be the story. I can deal with boring or frustrating game elements if I find the story interesting but often find that it doesn't work the other way around.
Been looking forward to this coming out on android.
Interesting looking game that seems worth keeping an eye on.
I'm a great lover of visual novels so might have to pick this one up. Shame that there arn't too many choices through-out, but it's worth it when that adds strength of personality to the main character.
So many terms! Well written and easy to understand, good job.
Another great article. Definatly agree with Sonic drowning and the witch from Left4Dead, I can never relax until the music has stopped even if I know I've past her. Any time-attack mode always gets me, the more fiddly the timed task the more twitchy my fingers get.
Was very close to giving it a 9.0 but the game doesn't quite deserve it. This is mainly due to the amount of quick-time events, which is a mechanic a lot of gamers don't like.
Tried playing League of Legends about a year ago and couldn't get the hang of it. Perhaps with a guide I'll fair better and can give it another go.
Always great to read a review of an older game.
I'm quite a big fan of rougelikes, so might have to give this one a look.
What did I just witness? From crazy to scary, at what point did people think that any of those adverts were a good idea/representation of the games and their consoles?
Actually didn't know about most of these, they made me smile.
Interesting how the first in a series is often the best. There's something about the attention to detail and love that goes into the first game that can't quite be replecated a second time.
I actually thought that they got Portal 2 about right with the length, maybe that's due to how long it took me to solve some of the puzzles though. Definatly agree with Dishonored, would have loved more gameplay and felt that they could have easily added a couple more missions to the storyline.
My team would have Bayonetta (She's badass), Professor Layton (He could solve every problem), Tim from Braid (He could rewind time), Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite (She could make supplies reappear, and throw you things at crucial moments), and Pea-shooter from Plants Vs Zombies (It's good at killing zombies, plus could be a good food supply).
