Really interesting to see indie teams getting together. It's going to be interesting to see even more companies doing this in the future and seeing what they come up with. The game certainly looks pretty fun, so will definitely have to keep an eye on its progress.
I do love the Fatal Frame games, and am really excited for the new one. I find singing an upbeat song can also help to defuse a bit of the tension.
Love the Tales series, so happy that this one is coming to PC. It's a shame that a lot of the characters are a bit bland but it looks like the combat and art style makes up for it.
It is a very difficult game with themes that aren't for everyone. If you felt like it would have this response I would really suggest that you did not pick it up.
I really want this game to be good but can't find myself getting too excited, just in-case. The accents are certainly going to be something to listen out for, hopefully they won't be too cringing.
Love Cyberpunk stuff, so I'm pretty excited to watch this game's development.
Always great to read about the history of a franchise, serves as a good reminder to some of the older, and occasionally better, titles in the series.
Really great list. Particularly agree with the quick time event bosses, they're just so unsatisfying that I tend to end up feeling overly frustrated - I want to kill them will cool combos and skills, not a finger tap!
Definitely going to look into playing this, sounds like it's gotten the writing and atmosphere right - something that a lot of horror games are struggling with. I agree with comments on Until Dawn, although impressive and enjoyable I felt like the reliance on jump scares and quick time events to build pressure and fear was a little lazy.
Might have to check out the demo for this and give it a go, looks like fun.
It's pretty difficult to get a game trailer right. One of my biggest frustrations with this years E3 was that most of the trailers showed no gameplay, making it hard for gamers to decide whether or not it's their type of game. The best trailers manage to create good hype through the clever combination of graphics, story and gameplay.
I am a big fan of visual novels so may have to look into this one. The art style looks really impressive, although it's a shame that there aren't really any cut-scenes and everything is told through text and static drawings.
I agree with this. I'm not really too bothered if a game includes a famous celebrity. In fact, sometimes a really well-known voice coming out of a video-game character can be off-putting as I end up thinking of the actor rather than the character. On the other-hand games without voice-acting often feel empty and lack a certain amount of personality. It's important to get the balance right.
So many fantastic tunes that I know I'll now be singing for the rest of the day.
Sounds exciting. Would be great to have more indie games on Nintendo consoles.
Always enjoy cowardly characters, it makes things seem more realistic. Who would really face huge threats without at least a tiny whimper of fear?
Seems like an interesting looking game with a lot of potential. The graphics and sound effects could use some work but the basic gameplay looks fun, particularly the power-ups choice gained from bosses.
I always get a bit nervous when games are made into films, but this one doesn't look too bad. Might have to check it out when it comes out.
Always appreciate it when games strip away all the weapons and force a concentration on more sneaky methods, it's often much more satisfying. That being said, I feel the fast pace of this game would probably be a major frustration.
Hope the launch is smooth for everyone who has pre-ordered. Will try to hope onto the stream later, exciting times!
