Nice list! Gotta love a good villian that you can't wait to defeat. Handsome Jack from Borderlands, for example,as everything he says just drips with that 'ahhh I want to kill him' vibe.
Blimey I thought this was out ages ago, shows just how long it's been in alpha.
On-rail shooters are always pretty fun, good luck with dat aim. Also horror games, can't beat a good scare with a few mates, while drinking, even the tiniest of things end up getting blown out of proportion.
Nothing like a nice romantic story...she was looking for him, she found him, now they can live happily ever after, right? :P
It's cool that you got the voice chat to work, it adds a good sense of fun. Gotta have a couple of friends around while killing some zombies.
Such a fantastic series of games. The graphics in this one looks amazing, really great levels of detail. Nice to know that this game has kept the fun of the others.
It is an awesome game to be fair. I guess we're part of the problem. xD Some games are just deserving of our attention, and if we're happy to buy them they'll keep getting remade forever!
Depends on the players personal relationship with the game to many extents. Like I'd never played Majora's Mask so was super excited when it was remade and updated for the 3DS. If I'd played the original, however, I'm not sure if I would have bothered to buy it again.
Great article. Gotta love creepy rumours in video-games, some of the creepypasta attempts are just hilarious though.
Big fan of American McGee's Alice Madness Returns - sure it's not the best game ever, but an interesting take on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland story.
So many disappointments. It's so sad when a well loved franchise looks like it's dying in front of your eyes. (I miss you Sonic, I hope you come back some day)
So much to look forward to. Didn't quite realise how much was coming out in October, and with even more coming in November I'm going to have to work hard to re-organise my time and money.
Some great titles that should never be forgotten. A lot of fantastic and nostalgic memories surfacing because of these great titles.
As a big Nintendo fan, it's nice to see Shigeru Miyamoto up there. Appreciated the inclusion of designers who were essentially the start of home and portable gaming.
Was there seriously no one in the office that day to point out why this might have been a bad idea? We're trying to get people to accept video-games, not encourage that even the companies that make them are idiots.
When costumes and available characters come in lone DLC packs I get a little frustrated. Some of the characters in Smash Bros, have felt much too expensive, for example. I don't mind paying extra if I'm getting my money's worth, but some DLC goes a bit too far.
Sounds like an interesting game. The focus on the camera reminds me of the Fatal Frame games, love the concept of solving puzzles by taking pictures or using the flash. Shame the story's end doesn't quite work out, though.
Nesbitt and Exploding Pasty make the best team! Really enjoy these videos, look forward to future episodes, and other games.
Always fun to look back and remember the classics.
Looks like a good puzzle game. I like that there's a good story to go along side it. Always nice to have a bit of dialogue to keep everything interesting.
