A nice read but felt like it had very little to do with the title until the second to last paragraph - would have liked more detail into the topic that was promiced in the title. I ended up playing Ocarina of Time on the 3DS and had no problem with the water temple, I actually found it to be one of the easiest temples in the game so if you ever want to complete it, perhaps it's worth getting the 3DS version.
Never picked this one up, but the points system sounds really interesting. It's a shame that no-one has tried to replicate it.
Sounds like an interesting title that could have been greatly improved with the addition of a good tutorial, and perhaps more options in the settings menu.
Sounds like the puzzles add an interesting break from the story, but it's a shame that there arn't many, and they don't affect the plot at all. Out of curiosity, how long did it take to finish the game?
Nice article, I was a little sad that it wasn't the top 10 rather than top 5 but appreciate the amount of detail you've put into each of the entries (the amount of videos felt a little bit too much though). Dishonored is the first sneaking assassin game that I've actually enjoyed, loved the gameplay I felt so slick and powerful, even if I didn't kill people.
I think that they have plans to put it onto other consoles but have concentrated on the PC version for now.
Nice little article but it felt slightly too short. More exploration into the evolution of the genre and what that means would have been interesting. I have a personal love for on-rail shooters, great way to just sit back, relax and kill everything in sight.
Yeah I heard about that. Particulally sad news for the storyline, I want to know what happens!
Lots of fun to watch, very much enjoyed the banter throughout the game. Was personally really impressed with the graphics, especially when the game allowed you to zoom in and really appreciate the texture details. The water fighting was also really fun, and a lot smoother than I expected.
Really hope they get the story right. Fans deserve a satisfying ending.
Nice little article. It's funny how many of us ignore box art when it's so vital to getting out attention. Would have been interested in reading a longer article with some more details and examples of old box art and how that differs from what we see today (as well as pictures to go with them). These days many of us can't afford to buy games purely on the box art alone, and we look to reviews and trailers to tell us whether we want the game. I remember just going into Game with no...
Seems interesting due to the custimisation. Shame about the off-putting art-style and sound effects.
Excited for this! Fingers crossed the game can live up to expectations.
It looks so cute! I think I'd struggle with the difficulty, but it's nice to see more well made challenging games being made, and I hope this one gets the attention that it seems to deserve.
Definitely worth the playthrough, especially if you're a fan of the Borderlands franchise. I'd probably wait to buy it until all the episodes are released at this point. That way, you can just play through at your own leisure.
Never did look like my kind of game, just not my style of humour.
So many terms! How do players keep track of everything? :P
Seems like a fun, quirky title that's worth a look.
Certainly an interesting thought. Beta's are essentially 'we want players to bug test our game' situations, and indeed many companies pay people to use and test the beta version of their games. This is exactly why I get annoyed when certain developers feel like it's the players privilege to bug test. I do miss the days when I could test whether I would like a game by playing a demo of it, but I suppose that's what youtube let's players are for.
After the fun of the last one, I'll definatly be watching again. At least from the chat no-one will be able to hear my squeeks of fright haha.
