Sure, when all of their exclusives are on game pass day 1, at an overall much better value. What are we supposed to do, cancel game pass and buy all the games separately for full price? Say no thanks to free money?
I don't follow your point. I just bought CoD, and i'd buy Redfall and Starfield next year at launch if they weren't on game pass. Just so happens all their big exclusives ARE on game pass.
Until a Bethesda game that didn't already have contractual obligations releases on PS i'm assuming every Bethesda game going forward is Xbox+PC exclusive. Yes there's a good chance the next Doom game will be xbox+PC exclusive, i'm not sure what the SMH is about. Microsoft paid 7.5 billion to buy exclusives, not to be nice to their competitors.
I agree it's a clunky engine but somehow Fallout 3&4, Skyrim, feel instantly more immersive than any other open world game for me. Their worlds feel real and alive, you can pick up anything from the ground, create mods out of it, build things, etc..
Shooting mechanics is not a selling point of Bethesda RPGs. As long as it's a bit of a bump up from Fallout4 shooting then that's good enough for me

Campaign was good. MP is great but the maps kinda suck, that can be fixed. DMZ is offering something AAA for console that isn’t provided by any other games. No regrets buying this game, the whole package has great value.

Xbox still 6 months away from putting out some actual exclusives. Will see what numbers do when Starfield comes out and if the activision deal closes.
Exactly, we're already playing ranked play in quickplay, cod has zero clue what they're doing on quickplay vs ranked. All they need to do is copy other popular games but they can't figure it out
Is it going to be crap like all their previous ranked play? Timed events that place you in a ladder and you move up and down in that ladder? Just give us a normal ranked play like every other comp game please, let us move up and down between the ranks based on ELO, for the whole season

I don’t trust after BF2042 didn’t even launch with a scoreboard. Have you also noticed there’s no barracks in mw2 at launch? You can’t find your overall kd ratio anywhere. These companies are getting real sloppy or lazy. Removing basic “Legacy features”. This shouldn’t be acceptable.
Yes the option was there in the Xbox beta to turn of crossplay with an in game menu toggle. Exact same as ps5 has now. They better get this fixed ASAP
Yes but then slightly longer matchmaking as you’ll only be matched with others who have gone through their system menu. A built in game menu is more convenient and way more will do it.
No the price of game pass is going up in 2023 because they are releasing a bunch of games. You don't raise the price now and then give us Deathloop and Plague Tale, that's just not enough to retain customers.
The games being pushed to 2023 is also a reason why they missed on sub numbers for 2022.
@Crows90 in terms of day 1 launch content it's not close. Game Pass is giving day 1 access to all of their exclusives, plus many non-exclusives like Plague Tale Requiem. Current discount pricing gets you xbox live gold + game pass for $60/year. I haven't seen this value on any platform ever, unless you count pirating games on PC
The graphics were outstanding and lots of mission variety. I thought the story had very little character building and no big moments.
This is fantastic i finally got to play a cod campaign at launch, which i would never do if MP was available. I'm now going into the MP with a bit of background which is nice
You can get it for 5 bucks a month, which is less than the price of 1 full game per year. People that have an xbox and like free money would get it, has nothing to do with being on a budget. If i ONLY get Redfall and Starfield next year, i'm saving more than the price of a full game. But i'll for sure be getting Atomic Heart, High on Life, and Diablo 4 should it release next year.
