Totally agree. Also, it's possible that Spiderman wasn't even planned to be in this game at all and wouldn't exist in it without Sony pushing for it. Why would Sony push for their property to be on other consoles to benefit the competition?
The difference here is Sony isn't releasing these stats to try to distract from less than great sales numbers. Sales have been phenomenal for this game as well.
You mean all the things that everyone whined and complained about and tried to crucify Sony for, until they changed it? Sony can't win for winning with some of these people. Meanwhile MS hosts a gameplay stream with 0 gameplay and people still try to defend them. Hopefully next week they'll actually show something worthwhile.
That's the persona he's paid to project. Unless you know him personally I'd be hard pressed to believe he's an actual gamer.
@Neo
You conveniently left off FF7 remake and Persona 5 Royal btw. But yeah everyone has their own opinions about each game, that's why there's so many so everyone can play something they like. No need to throw preemptive salt at one side or another just for the sake of it.
It's still pretty new and wasn't a full price game at release. $25 is a good deal for it tbh.
Sony had a deep dive show of the system hardware and how the SSD works, and recently revealed the DS5, all while having a large handful of AAA exclusive games releasing on their current gen system... That's not exactly staying quiet.
An Xbox controller didn't exist during the ps1 gen :)
It's also probably because the game isn't quite finished yet, and maybe there's still stuff they want to do with it that they'd prefer not to be done remotely from employees homes?
Seriously, it's not like the game got cancelled. There's more important stuff going on right now than questioning reasons behind a game delay.
Yeah those hilariously large pyramids looked so much better than the only slightly large and more realistic look we're getting in the remake.
Seriously though, her model in the remake is still pretty well endowed, especially for her size.
But with the ridiculous crunch culture that Naughty Dog puts its employees through, you'd expect them to just power through this global pandemic to get the game out on time... Right? Sarcasm btw before a slew of disagrees.
Hope everyone is staying safe during all this, families definitely need to come first before entertainment.
Honestly the game length shouldn't be a surprise to anyone and shouldn't be a knock against the score. Not every game needs to be a hundred hours for a single playthrough. Tons of games from the NES and SNES/Genesis era could be beaten in a few hours, and that was part of what made them great. We'd play them every day over and over because they were fun, not because they took a month to get to the end.
"Mehmesis" Gaming journalism at its best right here folks!
No not disliking something, but complaining about wanting it to be something else or ridiculing the developers about it does. They didn't have to add it, and I'm sure alot of people couldn't care less, but it still took work and manpower to create.
Yeah that's how I feel. So many entitled crybabies complaining about a tacked on extra mode like they're being forced to play it. Originally when resistance was announced it was thought to be a standalone game anyway, before RE3 remake was even officially announced.
Lol saying it like that sounds as though nothing has happened on the PS front in the same time other than the "talk about hard drive speeds." Nioh 2 released with fantastic scores, persona 5 royal is coming next week and FF7 the week after.
Stop complaining. If you want the game bad enough, you can always cancel your physical preorder and get digital. There's shit going on in the world right now so you can't have it your way all the time. If that's the only sacrifice you have to make because of what's going on, you should consider yourself lucky.
I literally lol'd at this.
You know most GameStop employees are part time status right? They wouldn't get paid leave especially with how long this situation might last. The employees are able to take off if they feel at risk but most likely would like a paycheck. Not much risk involved if no customers are allowed in the store anyway. Certainly not as much potential contamination as there is in a Wal-Mart where people are going in droves, also a place where most employees are part time status.
The Ultimate Edition is actually the original Spider-Man game with the DLC, and the Miles Morales standalone in one package.
