Sony should make official drivers for DS4 just to rub salt in MS' wound.
PS+ gets more and more worth it, Resogun, DriveClub for free, as well as the Binding of Isaac.
Also very surprised about Minecraft coming to PS4, though it was exclusive?
I am so disappointed that it's not coming out in October. I guess I only have myself to blame, but the 32 countries thing was definitely a body blow to MS.
@Jhawk - It doesn't say Microsoft in the title. So your eyes do deceive you...
Very big announcement, but Sony could just bundle the game themselves tbh, and still be cheaper than MS. The only reason they can do this though is because they are really ripping EU consumers off the with the price already. PS3 was £425 when it was $599 in the US, this is £429 and only $499 in the US. Still, it will hit their bottom-line immensely.
Wow people at MS must be really stupid.
Isn't this confirming that there won't be a private event either? If so, is MS really that unprepared??!
KI already was confirmed as free to play. It must be as a new game from MS, can't be FIFA, would be too expensive for MS, think of FIFA as giving COD away for free.
Surely this should be the case for 100% of gamers on all platforms? Nobody wants worse and less games ever.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that compliance and testing issues for electronics is done EU-wide? So if the console can release in France, it should be able to release in Denmark. If that is the case, it yet again proves that the yield issues are true because they are denying it so strongly and trying to make it out as there is no issue. It is also a little worrying if that is the case, as to whether or not it will affect failure rates on the Xbone in the countries it is launching in. ...
He's been correct about pretty much everything so far, and he is a known MS insider apparently. The final bit basically confirms a Kinect-less SKU in 6 months. Anyone who buys at launch is an idiot, because you can just wait and get it much cheaper, even if you want Kinect, you could get it on eBay at that time cheaper.
Well it can't be Bayonetta, so either Vanquish or a new IP? Wouldn't be surprised if this is true actually, but if its a new IP, I hope it is unique.
This video looks as fake as...a fake thing, but I am quite convinced that October may be the release date.
@Donny - America isn't part of the world?
Wow.
They shouldn't have announced it in the first place if they weren't going to be able to deliver. It shows that they were trying to cram any announcement they could into E3 as possible in order to undo the damage they did at their reveal. It is also very bad for the company's image, it's the equivalent of telling someone they're hired, only to call them the next day and say they didn't get a job.
@JOY - Actually it's wider than a PS3 Phat, and most importantly, the PS3 Phat had an INTERNAL PSU, and no brick. So it was bound to be bigger, a good comparison now is between PS4 and Xbone, and considering the PS4 is more powerful, and has an internal PSU, it shouldn't be smaller than the Xbone, but it is.
On topic - I've got my PS3 stood up, I actually had my 360 stood up for a long time, until I knocked it over once, and then thought, better put it horizontall...
@Gman - It's sarcasm genius.
I don't really care, UNLESS, they are able to offer a comparable service to current providers at a cheaper price. Then I will have a look, otherwise, give me inFAMOUS and I'll be happy.
Honestly though, this is just IPTV. Sony will always be in a better position than MS for TV/Movie/Music media because they have major branches in every sector, but there isn't anything revolutionary about this service (and there isn't anything revolutionary about MS' either, apart from ads and fantasy football).
It might be a nice service for PS4 users, but I can't see why people care about TV anyway. Do you not already have enough ways to watch TV??
I think the big thing at MS was FIFA 14 being free, but that's not much compared to the slew of indie games, plus Vita price cut, plus release date, plus 32 countries at launch etc.
