I've never preordered a console before, but PS4 is the first one I have. It's up to your preference in the games that MS or Sony bring out, which will make it worth buying for you or not really. Personally, Sony has never let me down when it comes to games, which is why I'm wiling to buy on day one, and there is no franchise on Xbox that I feel I REALLY need to play (Mass Effect exclusive was one game I would have considered an Xbone for). This is pretty normal actually, just like on Ass Creed ads, they only mention PS3 for example. On a side note, that's a huge advert, never seen one that big in UK.

Lightning Returns will push them to profit, no matter how bad it might be, it's still FF, and it will still sell decently in Japan.

Already got a Vita, but if th standalone Vita remains priced above $100, I would buy a bundle and just sell the Vita on eBay.
@JOY - I've not seen any benefit over the current PSN that the current XBL Gold has, other than cross game chat. People think they have been using XBLG money for dedicated servers, but the online experience on both consoles in terms of lag is exactly the same. Now of course they will be spending that money Xbone online features, which is good to see, but so is Sony with the free games, which on their own make the subscription worth paying for, but if MS had no real online competition next...

Yeah you seem to get a lot of new IPs early on in a generation, and after that pretty much nothing. That's why people said The Last of Us coming out so late was a bad move, boy were they mistaken. TLOU proves that if a game is good, people will buy it, no matter whether it is a new IP or not (although new IPs require more advertising). Fuse on the other hand proves that you shouldn't make new IPs generic as hell, otherwise they will fail.
The Last Guardian better be there. Although it probably won't be :(
@JOY - I'm not saying Driveclub looks better if that's what you think I was getting at LOL. Also, I personally don't think Driveclub and Forza compete, if anything GT is more like Forza.

@PSVita - Dunno, but who cares, when's the last time anyone put a CD into their PS3 or 360? I certainly haven't for years, so couldn't care less tbh.
People need to understand that PS4 will be an entertainment hub, better than PS3, just because they haven't talked about it, doesn't mean they will give up on all those features that are so popular! Also, come on Sony give me MKV playback.

On topic - Always takes a couple of years before you see the amazing games, but inFAMOUS looks fantastic, can't wait for that. Ryse actually looks really good too graphically for Xbone, not that impressed with Forz...
This pretty much confirms the date imo, MS won't come out after COD Ghosts release date, and the box art and the fact it's on Xbox website suggests it's legit. I personally expected 12 November, because then it would be 11.12.13 in the US.
