as a dual console owner who reads the news stories for both 360 and ps3, i disagree that 360 fanboys are the persistent trolls ps3 fanboys are. fanboys are ignorant, no matter what system they own. period.
And I never assumed "everyone whos commenting is a ps3 fanboy." I simply pointed out the facts.. look at some of the previous posts before my comment. They all insinuate something to the effect of "who cares, wait till the ps3 announces their numbers.

Wow, look at this.. Sony Fanboys continuing to troll articles pertaining to Xbox360. What a surprise...
It would also be nice if Kinect had some cool peripherals that could be used with core games, kinda like the move has with the Killzone Sharpshooter. Core gamers who own a 360 don't need more games like Kinectimals!
I agree with rattlehead. Most everyone I know in real life owns mostly multiplats and a handful of xclusive titles. I also think that if your only buying console-exclusive games, then what kind of gamer are you anyway? You'd be missing out on a whole bunch of fantastic multiplatform releases.
Granted, exclusive titles like MGS4, Uncharted, Halo, Forza, etc., may be the tie breaker when your out shopping for a console.. Sure, you really want to play through the Unchart...
I'm tellin ya man..SONY must have the biggest, longest, girthiest dick EVER, because you Ps3 owners just cannot stop riding it all day. Take a break, you're gonna dry out and chafe your rear-end.
If you just want to blow smoke up the Ps3's ass, why don't you comment on articles posted in the ps3 section?
@nalyd-nolat - "Fanboys are so hopeful but are just pathetic." Dude, read what YOU wrote.. I guess this statement holds true.
that sure was a fanboy response you posted and that doesn't seem to be consistent with someone who is "educated and owns all three consoles" as you have implied about yourself.
@ BloodyNapkin - a "good" exclusive is a pretty subjective thing. Maybe you don't like Forza Motorsports, Halo, Splinter Cell and Alan Wake, but those MS exclusive titles all sold quite well and recieved high scores from the critics.
I sigh in sad disbelief at all of the blow hard know-it-alls on this site.. :/
Bridget O'Neil, from the Kinect show.. she's a Microsoft exclusive!!!
1). I ve seen teams get spawn raped in BFBC2 more than in any other team-objective based online game. Especially in Conquest, when one team captures all of the objectives, the losing team has no choice but to spawn at their home base.. the winning team then hovers over the opposing spawn deployment with gunships, tanks, and snipers. It's great to win, but to me spawn raping is just no fun, ESPECIALLY when it's my team doing the spawn raping! I'm hoping Dice will, at the very l...
"Can you image an HD, open world, online co-op Zelda?"
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! That would be SICK!!!!! :)
If Nintendo does put out an HD console to appeal to the core gamers, You know that a Zelda game would be one of thier featured exclusives since its one of their oldest and most regognized IP's
I disagree ;) I read an article in Game Informer a while back where a Microsoft spokesman said that the 360 was meant to be updated as gaming technology improved during the course of the generation, and that a "new" Xbox console would'nt be on the horizon for several years..he never said that Microsoft will not be making a new console, they Just won't be making one anytime soon...
I've been eagerly anticipating Homefront and I plan on buying it on (or very close to) it's release date so I'll still wind up getting the pass for free, but IMO this is a seriously bulls*#t trend in the gaming industry.
Then why bother to comment?
No, why would we PAY for XBL service if silver allowed access to online MP for free????? What i don't understand is why the hell other console owners care if xbox players are paying for their online service?? Does it affect you personally if you don't own an XBOX 360?? What's the point in just being a flaming troll about it? Everyone needs to shut the F**k up and just enjoy whatever console they prefer and not worry about what other people are doing.
I actually ...
It may not be "innovative" per se, but it does arcade-style multiplayer action really well and that's what is selling, and that's why there has been no innovation for several games in the series... because publishers want to stick with a selling formula.
And why must a game be "innovative" to be enjoyable? That's such a game-snob statement
I'd be more willing to say "the state of videogame media reporting is in pretty bad shape." Just given the fact this news story is even posted here. It's just plain flamebait and it's meant to incite heated debate over which console is the best.
Once you own both a 360 and ps3 you will realize that they are pretty much the same.. Sure one has more powerful hardware and one has better online support for MP games, but that's irrelevant. They both ...
Assuming you also own a ps3, if you like story driven games you should definitely play Heavy Rain. It soesn't have as much of the combat action that Alan Wake does, but its all story.
What a garbage "news" story. Shame on all of those who fell for the bait, and turned this into a console wars debate.
Why not Chigago, Boston, Houston, or another of the major US Cities. Or Better yet, as someone earlier in this thread had suggested, London, Paris, Sao Paolo, or a city outside of the US?
It just seems like EVERY game with a contemporary urban setting takes place in either NYC or LA.. I know they are influential, historical, and exciting places, but they are getting old in videogames
Yea, I will avoid Kinect until I see some more support for the core gamers. I may just have to pick up the Move, though. Especially where it supports KZ3, (which to be honest I thought was "meh" aside from the graphics, but I'd like to try it with the Sharpshooter). I'm pretty sure that the Move it will also have support for Socom 4 (which I'm looking forward to very much)
