HAHAH!! some idiot actually disagreed with your presentation of factual info!! HAHA!! gotta love N4G..
...Maybe if they actually PLAYED the 2010 Medal of Honor. Easier to be a "know-it-all" and just disagree with people, eh?
I honestly dont think MS has the best exclusives.. Alan Wake was a pretty good game, but nothing that would make someone wanna run out and buy an Xbox.
Might wanna give Splinter Cell Conviction and Forza Motorsports 3 a try if you wanna try some decent exclusives.
No love for the PS2!? I'd have picked my ol' PS2 over one of those VCR-sized orginal XBOX's any day of the week. Remember the original XBOX controller!? ugh.. was like holding a cinderblock with buttons all over it.
@ justhetruth, ARE YOU SERIOUSSS???????!?!?!
Justthetruth writes: "...it's not like they go person by person and take money out it's automated granted they could stop it but why does 10 bucks matter so much to you."
Oh, okay... sure it's only $10, so why not just give it away to a giant multi-trillion dollar corporation.. i mean, it's only ten bucks...I'm not sure what rock you live under, or where in the world said rock exis...
Hey jizzinmypants, why do you care so much???? If people wanna use an xbox and dial up internet, cassette players, or anything else not space-age, it doesn't affect you does it?
another ignorant fanboy..
Wow.. Is it me or does it seem like the Sony Fanginas on this thread have more of an issue with the 360 version being 3 discs than the actual 360 owners?
Haha.. What a bunch of ignorant trolls those Sony die-hard's are.. They don't even have to buy the game on Xbox, but they sure love to complain about how inferior it is.
Huh!? Never Played Killzone 2 and 3?? They weren't my favorite shooters of all time or anything, but were definitley more than solid games... and exclusives as well.
I'd recommed them.
The new maps look cool, but I certainly will admit that the map packs are waaaay too expensive. I mean look at some of the DLC for other games, available for the same $15 price tag: GTA IV "Lost and Damned" and "Ballad of Gay Tony," as well as BFBC2's "Vietnam" MP expansion... Now those are at least priced fairly given the enourmous wealth of content in them. Heck, Even the DLC for Fallout 3 (which was $10 a pop) was a huge wealth of content for a decent pr...
I'm talking to you, zealott..You must be either a "bad kid" or a "retard."
"Real Gamers" play what they want, and don't need some game thats overly complicated, difficult to pick up and play, and impossible to comprehend to feel like a "real gamer." Real gamer's play what they like and don't pay attention to internet fads like hating games that sell well or don't majorly innovate over several iterations.
...
nope. I enjoyed the campaign immensely. And I still enjoy the online MP. Well, at least there's two of us who aren't afraid to admit we like Black Ops!
the article says: "The obvious reason you may buy it is because you're a diehard fan of the franchise..." That's exactly why I'll buy it! That's also the same reason I'll buy BF3! All this nonsense about secretly free basing your CoD crackpipe in the back alley where no one can see is just rediculous. If you like it, play it. If you don't like it leave it alone.
I love CoD, and I don't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks, ESPECI...
Yea, this looks like it might blow in my opinion. I was hoping they could erase the mediocrity of "Paralell Lines" by making "Driver: San Francisco" something pretty epic like Driver 3 was.
I am also confused a bit about the story timeline. I heard San Fran was a re-boot of the franchise. Maybe i just need to brush up on my geek speak, but I always thought a "re-boot" of a game, meant that the developers took the original release of a game a...
The article reads: "Each case can be completed in many different ways with several possible outcomes that will help fight back the apparent linearity of the game. L.A. Noire keeps the feature of random encounters as seen in Red Dead Redemption, which means that if Phelps hears a crime taking place over his radio he can intervene and assist his fellow cops."
there's your replay value right there.
@ sit down droid
You don't own the game. It doesn't even release anywhere until the end of May. You are not "speaking a fact," you are either lying or commenting in the wrong forum accidentaly.
Also, saying that one game is better than another is not "speaking a fact," That's an opinion, dude.
Really!?! It's "good that XBL is not safe!?! It's not "good" that any console/gaming network is not secure from hackers, especially since the network stores peoples credit card info!
You are either a hacker yourself or a complete and utter tool. I'm going with the latter...
the only thing i learned from reading this "review" is that the author "liked it because it was tactical" and "didn't like it because it didn't have multiplayer." This is more of a poorly written opinion piece about the game rather than an actual review.
If you want an "real" objective review i'd look elsewhere.. IGN, Gamespot, Metacritic, etc..
this is definietly the WORST estimation of expected weapons for BF3 ever. Especially since the ONLY weapons we've seen any of the trailers have been the M4A2 (which, as SociaLDisordeR points out, is strangely not even on this list!) and the M249.
With the cutthroat mentality that EA is employing with Battlefield 3, trying to knock out other best selling FPS franchises, you can bet they wont simply cut and paste all the same guns from past games without adding anything...
Off Topic: This article has Farcry 3 listed with a September release date!? Anyone know if this is just Speculation or if it is closer to the truth than that? I'm very curious, because Farcry 2 was one of my favorite games of this console gen, and I've been eagerly awaiting the "official" announcement of a third installment, however I can't seem to find any official info that the game is even confirmed to release anytime in 2011 (was only able to find an article that it...
this article echoes the sentiment I had back this fall. Being a big fan of military games, I was really anticipating the release of Medal of Honor back in October...When I finally popped it into my Ps3, I immediately felt dissapointed by the lower quality feeling of gameplay, graphics, and uber-linear level design. But my feelings of "is this a 'bad' game?" ebbed and flowed throughout the campaign and my brief go at the Multiplayer.
All in all, once i fi...
If they do additional game modes besides Camapaign and Multiplayer, I'm willing to bet it would be something like Special Ops.. Infinity Ward had Spec Ops in MW2.
I think Zombies is Treyarch's thing..
