Jesus guys, can't you spot a joke? Its not a account switch fail. he was making fun of how everyone will be replying to his question. Do you not see the quotation marks. Lay off. Back to subject: If you don't like the beta, don't play it and wait for the full game. Beta doesn't translate to demo - a misunderstanding that a lot of children seem to have. Not such a bad thing though, maybe this will send them back to screaming on their mics in COD and keep them out of BF3. If tha...
That was perhaps the single most awesome commercial I've ever seen. Sony has a funny way with commercials - they're either horrible or brilliant. This one surpassed even Kevin. It depresses me though to think there are people like Gamer3000 out there who wouldn't understand what this commercial means and represents to us gamers though. I hope they see how many of us appreciate and love this commercial and make similar ones in the future. Nice move Sony.
As much as I hate timed trophies, or missions in general - which is a lot, I really really really detest them - for me nothing is more hated to see than online-required trophies. I have nothing wrong with there being online trophies - why not give those mutliplayer-addicts some trophies to earn. I simply hate that they include them in the singleplayer trophies. That is so annoying, what if I love the game and get every singleplayer trophy, but think the online is crap and dont want to bother?...
The most depressing thing, is that you're right. It could be miles away from the original story, it could ruin everything fans of the game series like, it could spit in the face of every fan who hoped to see their favorite game become a movie. But it'd still sell well and make money because consumers are bloody idiots.
I really hope that's suppose to be his tail in the display pic.
I'd say it's definitely worth playing, if you're in it for the story. There are indeed many endings (you can kill off pretty much every main character in the game) but I never could get into replaying it. It has a certain Sixth Sense effect to it. Great movie, but once you know the huge plot twist at the end, it takes away from the experience of watching it again. For me anyway. Without giving too much away, the killer turns out to be someone you know all along through out the gam...
I'm bit upset Heavy Rain's villain didn't get a spot on the list. Though I can't really say more than that without becoming spoiler-central.
With all the tons and tons and tonsss of "Hands-on" articles that really tell nothing new that you probably haven't already seen yourself from one of the few recorded videos of the very demo level these hands-on reviewers are talking about, I'm surprised that I actually liked this one. It was well written and actually told me something I /wasn't/ aware of - that its a Cerberus-run facility. I knew the lab was being attacked by Cerberus, and that they're indoctrinatio...
Looks great. Hope they don't reveal any more characters - if there's even any more left to surprise us with... I been trying to steer clear of Batman articles lately because of it. It would had been really fun to find out about Mr. Freeze in the game, without having knowledge of him being a character in it... Same with Bane... Riddler.. Penguin... Deadshot... Robin... Catwoman... TwoFace... I could go on, but you get the point. Lots of big reveals that might had been more exciting to...
Wait, did I read that correctly? Batman with a shotgun? Electric or otherwise, that sounds... so alien and weird. Granted it could have tactical purposes outside of battle, but... honestly the only type of 'gun' I can see Batman ever firing, lethal or not, is a grappling hook.
But I wont jump to conclusions. I mean, when I first heard about AA I was sure it would be horrible, because whens the last time anyone did a Batman game right. Rocksteady blew all our expectat...
Useful enough, granted... but doesn't this basically require you to play only singleplayer and cut yourself out of the Co-Op portions of the game?
I love Dead Island, its a blast to play, even though it's wiped my character twice now (PC version, not PS3 though) - but honestly, if I wasn't playing co-op with friends, I really doubt I'd be having a fun time. Fighting off all those hordes of undead and 'mini boss' type characters, all by myself... Sound...
After reading the comments, I guess I'm the only one who doesn't think it looks all that great. The Gears of War one he created for 360 looks cool (though I never played Gears, so no sentimental value to that) and exotic, lots of effort put into it. This PS3 casing doesn't look anything real special. It has a metal box smacked to it and a small tag mounted that says Battlefield 3. Eh, I'd rather decal my PS3 with a custom skin, personally.
When I had first glanced at the title, I had gotten my hopes up thinking Sony finally upgraded their flash in the PS3's web browser... Oh well.
Flash Player 11 sounds nice, the GPU part sounds particularly promising. Maybe this means flash games wont be such memory-siphoning leaking monstrosities. Or maybe now they're even more-so. We shall see.
Agreed. I know not everyone cares that much about all the specifics, sometimes its just minor tweaks, but Sony should still release a option on their site or something that lists all the changes a certain firmware does, rather than just key points. I shouldn't have to rely on some fansite posting of the "hidden features" of firmware - they should just tell us. Would a simple little .txt file for "See all new features/changes" be that hard?
Hey Yi-Long, if amazon.co.uk is a option for you, you can consider checking out this page. tinyurl.com/ukps3decals
It's a link to a search result page in amazon.co.uk, I just tinyurl'd it because the full link is insanely long and untidy.
Just for the sake of being helpful, you could use a site like www.skinit.com or www.decalgirl.com
You can find tons of neat skins for your playstation there, or create your own if you want to add a more personal touch to your console.
About time Sony released some official default color skins for the ps3. Still doesn't really compared to custom decay skins anyone can make and purchase online for like 15 bucks, though.
To me, at least, having more dialogue is a huge bonus. The best thing about Mass Effect is the characters and the amazing story. The more story, the better. More dialogue translates to more story elements, deeper plot, and more choices for your character to make. This is the last chapter in Commander Shepard's story. I'm hoping they dive as deep into the universe they created as they can and bring out as much story as possible. There's going to be a enormous galactic war going on ...
No mention of some miserable trolling douchebag running in and ruining the whole thing? My god... maturity is amazing. This is a incredible stepping stone for the MMO gaming community, imo. To all the jackasses out there who would had usually ruined a moment like this, but actually got in contact with your soul long enough to show some respect, I say bravo.
I'd be more impressed with a larger character roster... It's a bit depressing when my PS2 version had more characters to play as than any new-gen version of the game. When you keep removing playable characters, you realize that the game is the same every time. How many times do we have to play out the Frieza and Cell saga. Far as Im concerned the best DB game is still on the PS2/Wii, and its called Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Too bad my 60gb PS3 died on me. Why you no have backwards compatib...
