There are definitely double standards, but your example is not really a good case for it. It's not 'double standard' to be fine with opposite sexes flirting but not same sexes doing it. One is natural, one is not. Completely different, in biology and in society.
As much as some people do not like to admit it, its simple truth that one is simply not natural or 'meant to be,' on a strictly biological bases. The result of these unnatural unions often leads t...
Wow, that was informative. Enjoyed it.
If you're going to be a pirate and contribute to the problems in the industry, at least have the decency not to justify yourself with falsehoods. No content was cut from the game. Just be a pirate because you want to be a pirate, don't make up excuses to make yourself seem rebellious.
I wouldn't be surprised if you meet one in the main game, honestly.
I'd hardly restrict that to just the Mass Effect fanbase. Try the vast majority of society.
Because it's Mass Effect. Believe it or not, fans tend to care for their gaming franchises. So when something shows up saying [Gamename here] Gay, a surprising amount of people will probably click it to defend their game because they think the video in question is some kind of trolling attempt at making their franchise look bad. Why don't they ignore it is another question, but that's how it is. They didn't go "ooo gay, me wants!", well, maybe some of them did, but l...
"Dear Fornax, you would not believe what happened to me the other day. Let's just say, I found out what it means for a Krogan to have a quad!"
Actually you do see her for a moment in the femshep trailer.
Yeah but it's also known as a not-very-good game. Not many people buy games just for a easy platinum. Though I wouldn't say it was too easy - surviving those parts where you're shooting down flying bots while on the mounted gun of a truck was a pain in the ass.
Oh. My. God.
As if I needed any more excuse to be glaring at the calender. Hurry up, 6th! I demand it to the forces of the universe! Rawr!
So, anyone else see the prothean with the illusive man? Shadow did kinda look the part, the head at least. First thing I thought of at least. Sure it was just coincidence though. But who knows. Gah hurry up and release you confounded game! q_q
It probably was disliked because, well, there's a reason "that's so gay" is negative terminology and "gay" in on itself is usually used as an insult towards others. The large majority of players are not gay. The large majority of players like to feel that Shepard is their character, not some random video game solider. This has a lot to do the sheer amount of choice in the game, as no two Shepards are ever alike. To see what is the 'canon' Shepard being gay.....
@Dude420
Or maybe, here's an idea, they charged for Arrival because it made months after the game was already out, cost money and time to make, and that their hard work shouldn't be given free to a bunch of entitled gamers.
Charged for it... because fans would want it... really? I'm not doubting your logic, but it's kinda like saying "I think people breath... to survive!"
A word of wisdom, when it comes to selling a product,...
So... does Zaeed no longer count as DLC?
I wouldn't say Arrival is a 'need' to play, at all. It offers no real choice, it's just story-filler that leads to why Shepard is in trouble in Mass Effect 3. If you played the ME3 demo you'll hear Andserson say "after the shit you've done, anyone else would had been court-marshaled" well, Arrival tells you what it is he did. Because it really offers you no freedom of choice or anything, and the events...
Wait, did he say the Collectors Edition of Mass Effect 3 costs 130 dollars? I've only seen it advertised at 80 dollars.
Isn't the "Liara Figurine" and "ME3 Figurines" the same dlc? Liara probably unlocks instant access to the Asari race in multiplayer, likely with a little extra EXP points tossed in to start off with.
I think a lot of people are putting too much merit into what these 'DLC' are. It isn't giving you exclusive items and meaning "oh well if I dont have this I'm missing out and not getting a full game". The Vault and the figurines 'dlc' is really just glorified Veteran packs for the multiplayer. If the multiplayer you can spend your in-game credits for these packs which have a chance at producing a new character to play as or new guns to play with. These DLC ar...
Another day, another ME3 DLC article. Getting old.
Not to mention the DLC was made after the game was finalized. Too many people misunderstand the situation and jump to conclusions without bothering to actually look at the facts.
Can'T become gayer than Dragon Age 2 was.
Dear Gods, don't prove me wrong on that one BioWare.
They should had used youtube for the music, instead of some app that requires you to have it installed or joined up or something to play.
