I can't say I'm surprised, the first two games didn't support it either. BioWare: Forcing us to use Xpadder/Joy2Key. It'd be so much easier if they'd just add it compatible instead of us having to tweak things around outselves. Or rely on a fan to release a mod to allow it.
Yeah, not really the best walkthrough. But at least this posting let me know there's such a thing. A bit of goggling gave me what I needed to know. You need Origin, you need it linked to your facebook, you need it linked to your game console, you then go here http://www.facebook.com/mas... and LIKE the page, then it takes you into the recruitment program. Then you send something to a friend and if ...
30 second long advertisement, that takes like 3 minutes to play due to a crappy video player - all to watch another advertisement for a video game. Jeeze. You'd think they'd at least spare us advertisements if what we're watching is itself also an advertisement.
This is what I get for buying all those multiplayer dlcs. Lol.
The way the article words it does suggest minor misunderstanding, I agree, but to say that they don't get early access is a bit inaccurate don't you think? They still get early access to Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Demo. Just because everyone can technically download it at the same time doesn't mean equal freedom to play it, normal players are locked out of that portion of the game until 2-3 days I believe it was.
Both Gender's doesn't make a lot of sense for many of the races. Honestly only Human, Quarian, Drell and possible Turian. Krogan wouldn't let their females face that danger, nor would Salarians. I was upset to see that male and female human have their own individual character slot. It should had been one character slot for humans, with a "toggle" button when you select them to switch between genders. This would had meant you could also toggle between male/female versions...
In all fairness, it is a Europe website. It isn't American. Their PS store doesn't update till tomorrow, in comparison to America, so this isn't a big surprise but it's still relevant to UK gamers.
You don't need to play through any of the Mass Effects or corresponding DLC to play Mass Effect 3. The Mass Effect 2 dlc you're referring to was 'Arrival' - you really didn't have any real game-changing choices to make, in that sense it was a pretty linear mission. It basically tells you the 'start' of Mass Effect 3.
You start ME3 off standing trail for the destruction of a Mass Relay that took the life of some 300 thousand batarian lives. The DLC...
Can't wait to play. Hopefully the Quarian infiltrator is male. I don't like being limited to only Quarian female. Kal'Reegar will be unstoppable! Mwuahahaha.
Black Ops...
As a gamer, I feel insulted, disgusted, humiliated, ashamed and embarrassed over this 'news'. I hope that the larger majority of society realizes that these ratings do not represent even a small percent of real gamers and Guinness should be ashamed of themselves for this.
@DeFFeR
This has been covered on N4G already, but the post is still in the pending category. Here is the EA statement on this matter. http://www.ea.com/news/mass...
And for a more detailed walkthrough of that, here is the link N4G contributor "ali711arab" (unusual name) shared in his pending post that is still awaiting approval. 5099d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
"Those who have seen the intro of the game know that he and Shepard seem to have some history, but that's it."
Interesting Info: The Dark Horse comic "Mass Effect: Conviction" is the introduction piece that supposedly shows how the two know each other. Basically, James was picked to be the one to escort Shepard, in handcuffs. Shepard was a prisoner at the time due to his 'terrorist' war crime of blowing up the Mass Relay that took the lives of ...
Am I the only one suffering intolerable lag on IGN's video player?
This was a good review. I like how they use the term "refined". Too often I see comments about how "oh this is just a shooter now no rpg like Mass Effect, boo," It's like they completely overlook all the awesome refinements they made to the formula. There's a ton more freedom to customization and roleplay now, especially when compared to ME2.
This asinine assumption that just because the combat and shooting elements are tons better and more smooth...
I couldn't agree more - those who preordered it should be the ones who get early access, not BF3 players or Facebook winners.
I just checked, and www.Walmart.com also has the collectors edition for PS3 still. They're out of 360 versions though.
Funny, I thought there was going to be a mars mission in the demo. This Demo seems to be basically the same thing from E3. Still excited to give it a whirl, though. I noticed Kirrahe is alive... even though it apparently isn't an imported save. I was under the impression that 'default' story Shepard had him always dead, since Mordin alway's commented that he "Heard he died on Virmire." If he is alive by default, this is good news for PS3 players who had no real optio...
It wouldn't had been so bad if the helmet's provided some kind of actual anonymity. Even the 'Recon Hood' description was all about how "our operatives may not want their identities known, so here's this" but then you wear it and shock, it fools no one. You can be wearing any of the helmets that completely hide any identifiable trace of facial features, but EVERYONE instantly know's who you are just at first look. If they had added even just one line of "...
Toggle helmets?! Finally. The fact that ME2 didn't have this option is just crazy. At least toggle it for when you're in urban areas and not on a dangerous mission.
To those who wan't a invite from this recruitment app, and thus early access to the multiplayer, send me a friend invite and I'll recruit you. It's up to you to worry about linking your account with Origin though - but this would at least save you the trouble of having to recruit someone yourself.
