Yup, it's pretty sweet. I still love my PSPs, one of the best and longest lasting gizmos, I've ever owned so it's nice to see them getting price drops, etc.

NGP is day one for me, but I'll always own at least one OG PSP!! :)

Having bought it used for about $12, I can say AP's a really good $12 game. $60? I'd have been majorly unhappy. If they made an AP2 for $39 debut price or get it up to $60 quality all around, that'd be great because it had some nice ideas.

FragGen sez: Now THAT is a franchise worth resurrecting!

I think now that the graphics in games are uniformly good, the customers can focus MORE on the gameplay they enjoy. I don't buy anything just for eye candy like I did back in the 16bit bad old days, it has to be a genuinely good game, too!

+1. I seriously doubt there's a serious risk of hardware damage from anything the software is doing. The CPU is the primary heat generator and it'll only go as fast and hard as the system allows it to run. The game could make the disk thrash but I doubt that'd be enough to overheat a console. This is just silliness.

Speaking of Rockstar and unconfirmed rumors, whatever happened to "Agent"? The thought of a Rockstar espionage game gives me chills. That'd be major E3 win.

PSN Store Credit. Then you buy what you want. IMHO. I really think store credit would be the most sincere gesture because it's the most like real money. Anything else like free access to some paid service just feels like disingenusous upselling and picking some bogus over the hill game that's been on special for months and many people already have is just lame.

They should keep the whole internet offline if they're concerned about privacy. LOL. How about facebook, youtube, etc? :)

I pray this is true. I'm not angry anymore. I just want it BACK! :)

Sony's doing you a favor by taking PSN down if you are still playing MAG. That game sucked. LOL.

Sony does not negotiate with Terrorists.

Unlike MS, who are themselves basically terrorists. LOL.

Will not buy until they fix the 1080p->480 resolution bug in Vegas 1 on PS3. LOL. I stopped playing that game because I got tired of resetting my Ps3 to 720p before I started the game just to get to start up in the correct resolution. They acknowledged the bug and promised to fix it but never released an update for what had to be a VERY simple patch.

There are plenty of other shooters to play.

The engine looks INCREDIBLE. The game? Not so much. id is fantastic with tech, their game design has been all over the place. this means good things for the industry, though. id's always licensed their stuff. Modern Warfare 4 will probably be built with this thing's engine.

@BShea: Actually if YOU read the article a bit more thoroughly and actually understood it (or rather saw all the glaring holes in it), you'd have realized this is a bulsh*t flame bait article to try to generate web traffic for the host site.

@killyourfm: Actually it's incredibly common for well credentialed "experts" to present absolute worst case batsh*t crazy scenarios at congressional hearings. They have a a vested interest in making sure their area of ex...

I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to more, the return of multiplayer on PS3 or an end to unfounded unresearched page hit trolling blog posts about PSN on N4G.

9/11 =/= PSN Hack.

And really, TBH, I DON'T hold the airlines responsible for 9/11. I hold the terrorists responsible.

The airlines were victims, too, really. If you insist on holding everyone accountable down to the man for anything that goes wrong, then REALLY the passengers are to blame, too. By this retarded hindsight is 20/20 reasoning they should have looked into airline security before embarking on the plane journey (which is known to have inheren...

Well, it's a fad that has turned into an option.

i.e. A fad that had enough merit to stay but will never have the massive boom it did when it first landed on the scene.

Examples: Music games, 1v1 Fighting Games, etc.

Tons of stuff follow this pattern in pop culture (although more fads just completely die out).

Zipper is a crappy dev. They have been coasting on their SOCOM2 cred for a decade or more. MAG was a total trainwreck and a giant steaming mound of unrealized potential. Now SOCOM4 is another idea that is really just a hint at how good the concept could be in a competent team's hands.

Great idea! They could give out free PSN beta codes when you buy a game with online capability!

+1. NGP is day one. I still like my Ps3 better than my 360, too. A network outage doesn't really change anything for me personally as long as it is fixed.
