You forget that PSVR2 can do PCVR too.
No matter how you cut it, Trump just made gaming (and owning electronics in general) much more expensive. #winning "It's not a tax! They won't pass the cost down to the consumers!" Sure thing... lol.
$700 for 40% more raw GPU power, AI upscaling, and 2x the SSD space (which alone costs almost as much as the $200 premium over the base model).
"The layoffs happened in the software department that works on previous consoles."
Sony commits to a 10 year life cycle for their consoles. With PS4 now going on 12 years old, it's no surprise to see some of those jobs being cut.
The difference is, Sony owns the console market pretty much entirely now that Nintendo has moved on to the hybrid handlheld space. They don't need to release their games on competing platforms, as there aren't going to be competing platforms much longer now that all the Xbox games are coming to PlayStation, there won't be a need to keep the hardware division open anymore.
Don't forget the PS5 Pro version too.
Gran Turismo 7 is the only other game that comes close.
One indie game, Philly... An indie game that they said the only reason is not coming to PlayStation is because of lack of developer resources, not because they don't want to put it out.
Talk about grasping at straws...
And now Obscure Observer's final prophecy has been proven false.

Incels: "If this game has a girl in it, she damn sure better give me a boner or I won't play it!"
They may not give the publications money directly, but they definitely won't be shy about flying the staff out to wine and dine them in the finest establishments and treat them to all kinds of entertainment while putting them up in really nice hotels and letting them meet celebrities and such when previewing their latest games... - A former gaming journalist.
As it should. That game brought be back to 1992. An ode to the golden age of gaming.
They do allow you to use the traditional turn-based combat as well.
Yeah, not enough people playing Xboxes to move the needle.
And then he goes on to talk about getting in trouble for it... if this dude knows what's good for him, he'd keep his mouth shut and stop jeopardizing his job. They could always kill the character off or find another actor.
unfortunately, even though they got rid of him, the last boss greenlighting all these GaaS games means they have to come out, hundreds of millions have been invested in them, so at least for the next year, expect to see a lot more of it.
If you don't see them, update your firmware and reboot.
The leverage that Sony holds here is that they own the console that has absolute dominance over the home console market, but I do agree that Marvel has definitely put itself in the advantageous position here with the disclosed details. They aren't going to get talent like Insomniac to make their game without Sony, though. We all know if Activision, Ubi, or EA got their hands on it, they'd ruin it and sales would tank.
I didn't like remake better than the original, but rebirth I did. It was so well done... And they expanded on everything that I wanted them to.
Sony has crushed MS this gen when it comes to first party studio output. Take that BS somewhere else. MS is selling their games on PS5 because they can't sell them on Xbox because they can't sell Xboxes. Plain and simple.
