It's a hard narrative to kill when MS confirms it by having to reach out to other platforms in order to get sales.
They balanced it pretty good last time, as well as in the original. As long as long grinds through mini games are not required to progress, and beating them is only to score a rare item or something, I welcome it.
These issues have been there for years... at least 4-5 years now I've been getting the "server error" message randomly. Doesn't sound like they're willing to invest much into this place.
They aren't making that money selling Xbox hardware, at least try to be accurate.
These people are so gullible.
Incel Anime porn, no less.
They could have at least tried to get away from the name Final Fantasy... The first word is literally an anagram for Final with the F replaced with a Ph... last word is fantasy... come on, guys.
I will never play it any other way. Just having the 3D giving you the ability to accurately judge distance using your depth perception, it's so much better than playing on a flat screen, It actually gives you a competitive advantage against people playing on flat screens.
And that's why Xbox has come in dead last all 4 generations.
That's why, no matter how many times the Xbox division comes out saying "we're releasing a new console!", I take it with a huge grain of salt. While Phil Spencer and co. might be all about it, Nadella and the shareholders, who just dumped nearly 100b into buying half the gaming industry and are not seeing that ROI come back anywhere near as fast as they'd hoped, they may have other plans... especially now that they've effectively gone third party.

Or they ported it to run on modern hardware with a driver update?
It's a great engine to quickly prototype and publicly test a game concept. Honestly, had they approached the business model differently, Dreams could have been very successful... They could have made their money from the creators, not just off game sales, if they'd made a system that lets you pay a fee to export your games/levels so that they are playable on any PlayStation even if you don't have Dreams installed. That would have opened up an additional revenue stream that would h...
It looks worse in some ways... the hyper sharp shadows are very unrealistic, you don't get that in nature from normal light sources, only from a point light source or an extremely bright light. It's sharper because it can be on PC due to the extra horsepower, but from an art direction perspective, it doesn't make it look better.
The Gabecube
There is a market for it, but I think valve would be a better company to do it. MS needs to stick to what their name implies. Software.
The green camp that hopes that they're readying another console release, as long as they don't get the axe from their superiors. The ones that will be the last to know if they do get the axe...
Gamepass was born as an attempt to lure people to buy xboxes. When it didn't, they now are faced with going software only, but gamepass cannibalizes that, hence the price hike. They'll probably eventually phase it out.
As I called it.
The Ex-Box.
This makes me smile. I hope that the game and especially the soundtrack keep the same relaxed vibe.
